This is what I'm currently running with the extra jewel point and minus the 3 skill duration points. Still feels pretty good just not sure where I'll go with future points atm.

In an effort to become tankier, I am experimenting with some significant changes to the tree. My focus is on improving max ele res wherever possible. There are two clusters within reach that will take us a little of the way there. The rest is done with jewel slots. By altering some pathing and giving up some armour, I am able to take 7 jewel slots, each of which has +2 max res of one of the types + some other helpful stats. At least three of the jewels combine max res and skill effect duration, to take care of that issue efficiently. The current result is

Fire Res: 87
Lightning res: 83
Cold Res: 83

After playing with it some, this feels -dramatically- tankier than when I had those points in armour and I think it may be the way to go once you can afford the jewels. Also, for doing pinnacle content, jewels can be temporarily shifted around to get 90% res in a particular stat for a particular fight. This feels like the right way to be thinking about the problem for POE2.

Since focusing on max res instead of armour, died only once between 92 and 93. And that once was entirely user error. Very happy with the adjustment, highly recommend.

New Max Res Tech (Bonus for anyone following this thread)

There is an item that drops from the final Sekhma Trial Boss if you fight him with a relic that makes him do 100% more damage and take 75% less damage. It is called Against the Darkness. This is a time lost diamond that can roll with all kinds of different stats for both small passives and notables in its radius. One of the types of stats it can roll with is +% max res of an element per notable. An Against the Darkness gets two stats, and they can both be small passive or both notable or one of each. I found one with +max res fire and +max res lightning. This type of jewel wont be super common, but we are in standard, so they are likely to exist. I got mine for 2d, ymmv. There is a jewel socket on the tree just above the lower totem wheel (where we already take three notables) where this can reasonably be turned into +6/+6 max res for two of your resistances.

I leveled and then traded out Brutal, reverberating impact, and smash (And temporarily borrowed a point from AOE that I intend to put back when I level again) to take Unbreaking, Cranial Impact, and Heat Proofing, which make up the three useful non-totem nodes within the radius of that jewel socket. My rezzes are now 89 fire, 89 lightning, 85 cold (with the added bonus against fire damage from heat-proofing). Before I did this, was able to complete all 15 waves of simulacrum. Now even tankier. Anyway, enjoy.

Thanks a lot Orion, i'm having a lot of fun with the warbringer totem after having played the titan i leveled one more warrior and it's so much better now.

Great build, i'm using the body armor cloak of flame at lvl 90 for the 40%+ physical damage taken as fire damage.
