yeah, thanks for the adive. I think once I hit 90 I will say goodbye to my snakebites and invest in resists and another %chaos ring.
One question though, i feel a bit stupid. Doesn't widowhail only do up to 250% increase? Ho do you get the additional 50%? Corruption?

Yes, corruption has a chance to give you up to 305%. Honestly though, if you hit 305% from a corrupt, just sell it and get a 290% as the extra 15% is useless :)

Errr. after doing some testing, I got my pconc to level 35, weirdly.
My current setup =
Gem lvl = 20 (From being lvl90)
Widowhail = 290%
Passives = 80%
2! jewels = 30%
For a total of 400% quiver bonus with a +2 proj quiver.
This SHOULD mean 2*4.00 = 8.00.
Amulet = +3
Chaos mastery sub skill = +1
Passive tree node = +1
Which means...any guesses?
Should be 20+8+3+1+1 = 33?
NOPE! I'm an idiot and misread the "Quiver bonus stat" While this might seem obvious to some people, it wasn't to me initially. It's infact 400% bonus on top of your +2 quiver. Which makes 400% bonus on a +2quiver 10!!! levels.
So I now have a lvl 35 pconc.

I thought increases to chaos dmg didn't affect poison because poison dmg is based on the hit that caused it?
Hello Exile!
I don't know where did you read that, but poison has a completely separate scaling from the hit, that's why I'm saying that you don't ever understimate poison magnitude scaling. What actually works with the damage of the initial hit are Ignites.
Hope you find this useful.

for reference: lvl 88, no 6link, gem lvl 28 or 29
After some testing, what's ya'lls take on Flask sustain?
I did the time guy boss on trials yesterday for my last ascendancy and it was the first time i ran out of mana flask charges but I was really attacking without regards for weather i already had full stacks on him. In the end i had to stand around awkwardly for a minute and dodge some stuff and then killed him. If i had tried to conserve flasks it would have gone a lot smoother. I don't have the Ring OP suggests because i really value the Resists and Life on rare rings. Also a rare ring has the option of +% Chaos damage. Another Upgrade for flask charges would be a belt with +# flask charges gained per second (implicit) an some +% inreased flask charges gained nodes. Maybe that would be enough already?
Buying a unique ring might be less expensive than looking for matching rare rings/belts but i'd say in mapping even that is not really necessary. Even with 50+% decreased flask charges gained as a modifier on t17/18 maps I don't really run out of charges if I play a bit more aware and maybe use plague bearer more often.
Hello Exile!
I'm personally still testing some setups. Getting mana flask sustain in the Tree I'm finding it really unworthy, specially since you NEED a lot of passive points.
Glowswarm for me is an actual solid way to get that done.
A +0.X charges per second mana flask is also required, but you're dealing so much damage that you actually don't need that much mana flask sustain.
Hope You find this useful.

Hello Exile!
That damage seems 🥵girthy and veiny🥵.
I'm still far from those numbers, got a 250 Widowhail and a +2 quiver, but I'm lvl 60.
I cannot wait to get those holy numbers. Still bosses at my level do not stand a fucking chance, 10 second deaths at lvl 60 is really Nice.
Thanks for the feedback!

I see, thank you. I heard it on YouTube (so it must be true).

The issue with content creators is they assume a lot without testing. Putting in hours of boss testing skills / sub skills 1 by 1 is not worth the time when people can just assume X or Y works and people follow it blindly.

Giving this one a try as well since I based my blood mage off your build (although I took it a different direction) and I'm finding the early game tedious, although trying to find the motivation to persevere and not go back to mapping on the blood mage. Would it be easier to level as something else and then respec to DoT?
