This was not QA controlled at all its obvious nobody tested how much this "balance" affected play also with no warning to at a minimum start farming for a respec cost. One option is go full spirit like 300 plus and run 4+ cast on freeze it works similar but only 60% as good as before but better than bricked. You will need to have money for max spirit items so save your exalts. For me at 50+ years old I don't have time like this to waste anymore only to lose progress as soon as I hit maps so this is a wait and see then uninstall forever if not fixed again lots of promise but I don't want to sacrifice my time again for a week straight only to be disrespected by the game developer/GG. I am the customer this is not a good feeling. I would rather spend the time with my grandchildren.

if you had played as a mage, you would not have made such a stupid change. You are not just modifying the skills of a profession, but effectively eliminating it.

Need a free respec for sorceress and monk characters...
And also, I understand the need for it but please reconsider the numbers on energy nerfs, this change makes triggers boring. |

without high damage builds 99,99 % of playerbase will never reach real endgame. is that the vision? to spend 100s of hours to fail in mid/high maps?

I don't know what GGG was thinking with this recent patch, but for players relying on "cast on" mechanics and elemental ailments, this is a huge loss and has underlying mechanic design changes!
I get that the intention was to prevent over-triggering in regular content while keeping things balanced for bosses, but the changes have created just as many issues. The adjustments to numbers they claimed to have made still aren't working at higher levels, and energy generation just isn't happening. This is further complicated by the fact they’re looking at ailment thresholds and skill damage across the board based on monster/player/skill level, something they didn’t address before implementing these changes. How are they to say if I am progressing slow/fast or if my build just "supplements" ailments versus heavy hitting with abilities that apply them if I am allowed to use meta gems effectively or not, they are an important design implementation for many classes! Many builds, especially those using "cast on" for elemental skills like Sorceress, are basically gutted. The smooth interactions with ailments like ignite or shock that triggered skills are now broken. The new mechanics have disrupted how elemental damage scaling and ailment thresholds work, making other skill gems like Magnitude behave differently too. And don’t even get me started on the trigger gem abilities for charge sustain. Monk and similar builds now feel weak and out of sync. I can understand needing to take these skills back to the drawing board, but they have gutted the ability to get triggers. Why not just make them not self perpetual - akin to herald of thunder (which cant, itself, shock)? "cast on X" skills simply just shouldnt allow for skills cast by them to apply ailments, then you get free skills when you trigger them, but they don't just chain into each other. instead they made them not work effectively. Logging in after the patch, my build doesn't work anymore. It’s one thing for builds to change over time, but to log in and find your character unplayable is a hard blow. Rebuilding now takes resources I simply don’t have. I’ve spent tons of gold on respecing, alongside skill gems, support gems, gemcutters prisms, etc, and now, like many, I’m stuck. The cost here isn’t just time, but also currency. I, along with many other players, invested heavily in acquiring the right gear. Spirit gear, for example, which is expensive to get perfect. Now, these pieces don’t work or aren’t even needed with the new mechanics, especially since we don’t need as much Spirit anymore. I know we’re still in early access, and changes like this are expected, but this doesn’t make sense. These skills and their effects seemed like a natural progression, and any internal playtesting would have revealed what they were capable of. I’m really curious to see how GGG plans to address the fallout with the community, and I’m hoping we’ll see more fixes or changes soon. In the meantime, I and many other players, are left trying to adjust and rebuild, which is a terrible way to start a new game. I’m happy to be patient, but it’s tough to see hours of effort and currency go to waste, especially when I’m just starting to hit the endgame. I’m hoping these changes are further tweaked, or that GGG listens to the massive player complaints. I’m not saying these skills need to return to their previous broken state, but right now, they’re pretty much obsolete, so the numbers are clearly off in many places. |

How about fixing the minions, they just disappear on maps where there are any obstacles and it's unplayable. Also need a separate cooldown on the resurrection of different minions

Killed 45 mobs to triggered cast on freeze, is it normal? Its not a nerf, this skill was eliminated and it skill cost 60 spirit to activate lol, wtf? 60 spirit for the 45 times less performance as skill was doing before?

So my only character in maps is now gone....i have no money to respec and my only option is what?
i dont want to run the stupid campaign again on new char and be nerfed again. I`m done with this game....its fun but now i`m dont want to make new char after every surprise nerf GGG decide to implement while we sleep. Either give full respec to char after nerfing or we go play poe1 |

GGG overnerfed again.
What is the point of Cast on Freeze is you need like 10-30 times to get 1 cast? So I need new build, I can't change ascendancy, I do not even have gold for such a massive respec, creating new character is the only way left.. Except 1 Act is even more boring slog then PoE1! And no drops... Some people call it "Masterpiece" Also, can I turn off convert Items-to-gold? It might actually helps I can FLY!
