your problem is thinking that people in the middle of 2024/2025 want to keep playing difficult and complicated games with absurd nerfs... if you really want to make the game successful, slow things down calmly... and don't just end they...

so cast on freeze wasn't fixed on bosses which made my build nearly unplayable before the patch and now the energy changes make it impossible to gain energy so i can't clear anything so my build is basically pointless now, really sucks ive sunk about 40 or more hours into poe2 and im already at the point where i don't want to play. just because shock and ignite where broken with energy gain doesn't mean frost was. even on bosses i was only able to freeze once every 10 seconds or so which blew now its gonna be like every 40 seconds which is all of my damage. might aswell just make a new character and go ranger lmao

I agree a change was needed, it was too strong. But surely there was a middle ground between too powerfull and useless.

Any news on the constant Dx12 crashes? Game is unplayable for a lot of people due to this :(

Changes are entirely expected, and in early access they are certainly not a big deal. On the other hand, giving out respecs during early access is also not a big deal. It feels like you are applying early access logic to one half of the situation, but the keeping live game balance choices in place for the other half.

" 100% agree. The priority should be: 1.Fix broken ascendency nods (like Bloodmage and chayula monk) 2.Buff server underperforming Skills (like all chaos and fire skills) 3.Nerf completely busted builds in a reasonable way. I love flashy things in arpg. Comet on cof was looking good. Still wasn’t there yet but hyped to try. Now its dead… why not nerf damage instead of making it useless. I dont get it.

This game has less actual builds than Diablo.
I also almost finished Atlas but i havent seen a single useful unique. I think there are like 5 total out of 200+ Maybe instead of nerfing builds you can, you know, work on making gear that would create builds? Even poe1 had a bunch of uniques i wanted to try, so far poe2 only has 1 chance shards. But nontheless i dont think i will keep playing, it was already too tiring with idiotic trials and micro corridors every other map. And there are no flasks so you cant counter a lot of things... |

Hmm, my sorceress is unplayable now, was fighting with a yellow for 5 min now, the same guy would have taken me 10-20 seconds yesterday, on map level 1...
yesterday i was doing 30 Mio exp an hour, today i cant even do 1 Mio! THIS IS A JOKE |
