I'm sorry but I was playing CoF. So what? The skill was overtuned, it needed nerf, otherwise this would have been PoE1 all over again. I have personally provided this suggestion.
And I also appreciate their decision in nerfing it. This is a beta, we are here to help them make a great product for launch.
If you bought the game just to play and have your "fun" you've played yourself
Looks like you are in the extreme minority. It wasn't that COF was strong as much as it was everything else was too weak. So why not just buff the weak builds? GGG never does that. Why?
CoF + comet was broken. And everything else is not too weak.
My minions and chaos and cold builds still rock even if they dont melt everything in half a second.
But that nerf was too much tho.

70h + around 50ex to build my character (cof + comet) just to get from 160% to 300% required to launch trigger. are u serious @GGG ? Please say a name of the person responsible for those changes - i feel like he didn't even test it before put it to patch notes.
Build is not playable at all, lost motivation, i fully understand that this is EA, but people who played this build in 90% now play fire wall + arc ->> that was ur point ?

Q1: Why are you ruining builds as soon as something's found viable? I thought the point was to experiment with combos to find the broken ones. As a first time player, the experience has been rough until I discovered certain builds. Now Cast on X and frenzy charge builds are both useless.
Q2: Why are you being so unforgiving to players when implementing such major changes? Respeccing should be free or at least cost greatly reduced since a build can be viable one day and trash the next.
I really enjoyed the game for the first couple of days but as a new player, these aspects are extremely anti-fun and ruining the experience. Seriously considering to stop playing this game and ask for refund.
You willingly signed up for a beta test in early access where it was explicitly stated that balance changes will happen

If i was GGG i'd just temporarily revoke access to all the complainers until full release.
Criticism is fine but if you dont understand what the purpose of a beta is then you are just a detriment to the development of the game anyway.
Im not against passive point refunds but i also think that if you abuse some obviously broken mechanics that are multiple times stronger than everything else you dont really deserve one.
