PoE 2 chat muted? I've only ever two messages I think

This happened to me too a few days ago. I was muted for a minute or two and then my account has been locked ever since. You'll get told to email support - but support won't be reading your email any time this month.

I would bet that it's an automatic process...which could mean all you need to get people muted is enough people reporting it.


That system is ripe for abuse. As many of us muted people know....Matter of fact I think New Age saw many people leave because of it.

Just happened to me as well, on PS5. Only messages I recall sending in the hours prior were trade whispers, and a few ty's. Very odd, was quite annoying timing too since I was trying to reply to a trade whisper.
I’m on ps5 and muted also and I never chat with anyone other than to say TY lol. I hope they fix this!
This just happened to me, and I rarely chat due to how tedious it is on the PS5 controller. Just messaged support and not sure when I'll ever get an answer. The only thing I can imagine is when I price an item wrong sometimes I get flooded with vultures trying to get a good deal. It's impossible to reply to all of them... So I turn on /dnd till my corrected price kicks in. Otherwise it's a full 5 minutes of hundreds of messages. It's easy to imagine how plenty of those folks would report me just because I'm not responding to their greedy grab hands. That's the only thing that could have pissed someone off... Which is a ludicrous reason for complete mute even for trade whispers.
I got muted as well. Also on PS5.

There is no reason for it. I don't send messages other than trade messages.
So there is definitely no reason for it.
We will see what they do about it.
