PoE 2 Minions often stuck in doorways
Many of the new maps in PoE 2 have introduced very narrow doorways or bridges and playing a minion build is somewhat annoying in the more cramped up maps since the minions frequently get stuck in doorways when you have many minions with you.
This gets even more frustrating when you are in a small room filled with enemies and your minions can't join the fight due to not being smart enough to enter the room in a single line. You can't get far enough from the minions to force them to respawn. Poe 1 practically solved this issue with convocation but poe 2 doesn't have that. Last bumped on Jan 3, 2025, 5:04:15 AM

yeah, and when you go away too far they die and youre left alone.
even if the minions decide to continue fighting some random mobs youe left alone for the net pack you encounter... sucks |

+1 Also minions can't cast their active skills if they don't have vision of the target area. That happens a lot especially when they are stuck.

Completely agree. Also, there is a big problem with range minions. When you enter the room or just stay behind the corner with mobs, your minions will start hitting the wall instead of entering the room(idk if that was in poe1). Plus in underground maps like pyramids or some buildings they can fire their projectiles into the ceiling or whatever is that thing above them.

Yep had this too. Super frustrating, I've been hitting '`' a lot to try to force them through doors ahead of me so they don't get stuck behind.
Also.. funnily. If the boss arena has a door that shuts (you can do this with the final phase of Crowbell when he runs into the circle of brambles) Your ranged minions can get stuck in the door. Happened to me, he couldn't reach them to kill them. Had to take out the gem and put it back in to get them to re-spawn lol. I don't like the 'minions die if you run too far away' thing but I feel that's a design choice rather than a bug, probably so they can be instantly brought to you if they get stuck somewhere I AM ERROR
