Cross your fingers for marauder with axes/swords. The bar is set low so surely marauder is going to feel broken.

4: Armour as a defensive mechanic is bad Just like in PoE 1, this stat still feels terrible to invest in. Nothing has changed.
Notably,
4a: Bosses have built in overwhelm (???) which unfairly punishes the one class which is weakest defensively right now
4b: Evasion is easier to get and is far more powerful of a stat
4c: Enemy physical hits from non-bosses are not threatening enough to matter to EVA/ES builds who just have 2x the effective HP of warriors anyway, plus options like freeze/chill to further their defensive capabilities.
Potential solutions: Armour applies to damage from elemental and chaos damage from hits base line at 100% effectiveness. Just make it happen. Worry about the balance later. See how it feels or changes the game first. Outside of this, not sure how to make it appealing outside of significantly changing game monster balance.
^ This 100%
I managed to luck into finding Blackbraid on another character (it does exactly this, minus Chaos), and that inspired me to roll a Warrior to see how it panned out.
Made it to Act 1 of Cruel so far, and it feels really solid - even with my chest armor value being essentially static. Not overtuned, not feeble. With a decent shield and good block chance, I really feel like an actual tank. If you applied armor to Chaos, I still think it'd be fair, as you'd still have to watch out for DOT sources like ignite, poison, corrupt blood, etc.

One of Warrior's biggest problems right now is how hard it is to get enough Life to handle big hits reliably given how bad armor is otherwise as a defense. I found the same chest piece, but I've had white minions one shot me as well as purely physical boss slams that had very little real tell. That armor is a trap in maps, I'd lose a good 260 or so life and nearly 10% armor rating using it.

Simple attack speed reduce the flat added cast time of skills.
still long casting but at least later it woudl stay resonnable compared to ennemies speed

I actually had a proposal for slow/wind up skills in my post on how to fix warrior/melee: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3699608/page/1
While the overall proposal was to provide tools to make the wind up less risky, I also had one very particular additional idea:
"
- Add a new skill gem tag called Wind Up. Wind Up refers to any skill with flat additional skill attack/cast time (e.g. Mace's Sunder, or Elemental's Comet). New Support Gem with the following effect: "Supports Wind Up skills. Removes the Wind Up. Supported skills do 30% Less damage & Area of Effect, and 50% Less ailment and stun buildup. If the skill has a Pay Off, this gem removes the Pay Off effect."

Interesting but its a big nerf for little gain... so i dont know it shoudl nerf the skill so much...
30% less wind up for 30% less damages is already quite a lot, sinc even Pay off hit will be weaker and same for ailment and stun chance/charging since it depend a lot of damages
