POE2 - Cannot do Trial of Chaos, did not receive Inscribed Ultimatum from Chimaera boss
" I haven't had time to beat this act yet, so I will try this when I can. I also have a friend who I asked to please not finish his using his green offering, so we can do it together to see if it pops me forward if we beat it together using his, although we're not strong enough yet to do it despite being 10 levels higher than the area level. I will post back if either of those work for me whenever I get a chance to complete one. |

Same happened on my second character. On my first one everything worked as it supposed to. Maybe it bugged out, because I still couldn't finish the trial on my first character? I still have it inserted into the device on my first, but cannot see it / get it on my second character.

I finished it with a friend who had the green offering item, and it did indeed complete the quest and grant me the points when I completed it with him. I also wanted to note I found a non-green level 40 Inscribed Ultimatum that was also 4 trials, and before I finished it with my friend it said it would also grant ascendency points, and after completing it with his, it said it would not, so it's probable that that would've worked as well. You can buy those on poe trade for 1 exalt, just make sure they are as low level as possible (lvl 40 is lowest I think for that kind).

I had something similar happen. I got the second one (no spoilers: let's say later in the act) and went back to the temple to complete the trial a second time. After one try I decided it was too difficult right now. I went to see if the item was at the entrance alter like the first time, and it wasnt. The door was open though, I foolishly closed it to see what would happen and now I'm stuck outside the temple, door closed and the item to open it is gone... I'm not sure if it'll drop again 🤷🤔?

Same I picked it up (inventory was not full) then when I got to the temple I couldn't find the token. Tried doing a level above me by buying a regular inscription from the market but it was too hard in my current state.

I lost the ULTIMATE TOKEN now i dont know how to get it back to complete trials of chaos i need help here

i have the same problem.
however you dont need to panic, you can do every inscribed ultimatum to get those points, just make sure that the "completing this ascension trial will grant additional ascendency points" is not greyed out. |
