POE2 - Cannot do Trial of Chaos, did not receive Inscribed Ultimatum from Chimaera boss

On first kill of the Chimaera boss, it drops the green Inscribed Ultimatum token that allows you do do the initial quest version of the Trial of Chaos, I saw it drop and clicked on it, without realizing my inventory was 100% full. It disappeared from the ground but did not appear in my inventory, as my inventory was full.

This made the quest state progress to "Place the Inscribed Ultimatum into the Temple Offering" which allows the player to do their first Trial of Chaos quest version, which I cannot do since I did not receive the quest item offering.

I've killed the Chimaera several more times since, just to see if it would re-drop the quest item offering, which unfortunately it does not.

Is there some way to get the quest item?

Is there any way to either get this item somehow or to progress the quest without it?

Just posting to say this happened to me as well. I picked up the ultimatum item from chimera boss and went to put it in the Chaos Trial like it says. And I didn't have it in my inventory because it was full. Boss didn't drop it again so now I'm stuck.

Happened to me as well.. Inventory was full when i looted it. And it instantly disappeared.

Got this same bug just now, absolute game-breaking as it completely bricks your character. Hope GGG does something about this and fast.

same issue here, heardbreaking and gamebreaking. i dont even know if you can team up with someone else even if you can in theory join them

Small little edit/addition/PSA:
If you continue playing till the end of act 3 ther, on one map before the boss, you can get a guranteed contract off of a map location which has the flavour text "for those who want a challenge"(chaotic shrine is the name) and despite it saying its only a 4 wave trial:
if you ahve joined literally anyone else (and lieklly if not, but i tried it by joining so i have done that) using that contract will launch the REAL trials of chaos 10 wave trial PROVIDED you were at the "enter your ultimatum and start the trial of chaos" step of the quest.

same how i can do this trial now?

I'm having the same problem... now my char is broken, I can't progress, I'm weak and dying to anything in the cruel... GGG please can you provide a solution for those who are suffering from this problem????
