PoE 2 is boring and not fun
Want to have a bit of a chuckle? Find everyone slurping down GGG dick in this thread, and count the number of supporter packs they have.
Its always either no supporter pack or the only supporter pack they have is the poe2 launch one. They aren't the core playerbase, and as such listening to their feedback is a critical mistake that is going to tank the game in the long run. |

" There's no point anymore. Judging by the devs' attitude, and the fact that they haven't removed the honor system from Trials yet, it's a sign that they're as stubborn as the Diablo 4 devs. It's going to take over a year for this game to get to a decent state, so that we can say that it has some balance and that the endgame isn't a one-shot fest with horrible loot. The thing is, I've already gone through this with Diablo 4, I'm not going to go through it again with another game. I just asked for a refund. |

The progression is extremely slow for me. I did one hcssf run hit got to the bugged colossus that still hasn't been fixed. I didn't find the game difficult, just really sloooooooooooow.. I dropped quill rain and another early unique and thought a re-roll would be fun.. but guess what -> it's just as painfully slow.
I got around 3/4's into act 1 then just switched to PoE1, hit level 72 in the time it took me to L14 in PoE2 and I'm having heaps of fun there.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

" There is definately a strong correlation there. I don't blame GGG for getting their pay day during EA, and hopefully all the money that has been raised can be put to good use. But going forward I'd expect the direction will be set by the player numbers and the MTX purchases. GGG are great at data driven development. Even if they do sometimes go off the rails in pursuit of a "vision". |

The biggest problem for me is the long and tedious campaign. I don't want to spend so much time in the campaign Few times i had to even go back when i was overleveled to complete stuff.

It's just Ruthless but with nice looking graphics.

Hmm, I have an idea! How about if you people who love PoE 1 kept playing PoE 1? Likewise, how about the people who love PoE 2, keep playing PoE 2?
I played PoE 1 for just one league and, unfortunately, I joined too late and there was already an absurd amount of content that was not reachable for new players. I eagerly awaited PoE 2 precisely because of the promise that the game would be VERY DIFFERENT from its predecessor in terms of gameplay, and would maintain a reasonable level of complexity for anyone who wanted to learn and start playing. Im currently doing t10-t11 maps without looking at any guides and that was precisely what i was expecting for this new game. You just hav to read your passives to be able to figure out how to make your own build stronger. For someone that played only 120 hours of PoE 1 thats awesome. In my opinion, the game is EXCELLENT, fulfilling the promise it made. Most of the constructive feedback (example: teleportation between checkpoints, balance on drop rates, etc...) is also pretty cool. Now trying to make PoE 2 look exactly like 1 with better graphics is also pathetic xD. |

They have said many times POE 2 is not going to necessarily be for POE 1 players and its supposed to be a separate game towards people who have different interests. Stop playing this game like it's POE 1 and play it like a separate game. Jesus, the amount of entitled in this post is insane

" On day one a lot of longtime hardcore/ruthless players were defending the game, but now those people are largely upset too after loot buffs etc... All the most annoying people trying to suppress criticism are D4 converts, people who just wanted to play the campaign, or people who are trying to sieze an opportunity to grow their twitch channel while POE2 is still meta over there. |
