Addressing your Early Access Post-launch Feedback
First of all thank you GGG for making such a beautiful ARPG. I feel like I am playing the real Diablo 3, 15 years late.
As veteran gamer I have played many of these, including PoE1, Diablo 1 (in 1995!) 2 and 3, Torchlight 1 and 2, Grim Dawn, Borderlands, etc... on my first character in PoE2, I died to the intro boss before you enter the first town. Twice. And you know what? I love it. Here for the first time in a very long time I am being forced to slow down, play carefully, and make meaningful choices. To actually experiment with skill and passive builds and alter my play style to advance. Every map and boss fights in particular feel like a nail biting fight for life, instead of a mindless boring loot grind where my brain shuts down. Rearranging my skills/supports and coming up with tactics to progress feels like hard-won accomplishment. In other words, I'm having so much FUN! It's clear that the community response to some design choices is strongly split. I have to resist calling out some of the whinier comments I have read... "death" feels like too punishing? You've been stuck in Act 1 for four whole days? GGG, please, do not sacrifice this gem of a game you have created. Commit to it and let it play out. You tried to shove down our throats sanctum and ultimatum, probably 2 of the worst leagues in poe 1 and made them mandatory to ascend. Nope sorry.
And put 6 tries per map, this is not undecember, and maps arent dropping that much. |

please stop randomly nerfing bad builds.
minions build were so bad it forced people to play srs, and it got randomly nerfed because fun isn't allowed. Also poison arrow got nerfed, and poison ranger is so clunky with toxic growth throwing you everywhere on the map, it was already bad, it didn't need an extra nerf. I'm now constantly stressed, I don't know when the next nerf is going to hit and destroy my character, it's been 2 characters in a row. I just want to get to mapping for a bit before they nerf the fun out of everything. address the nerf, explain your philosophy somewhere, so we dont live in fear of having fun. I have to avoid any build that is in a youtube video throwing hype at mid tier playstyles. |

" +5 maximum darkness per level and small ascendacy passives for 10% more maximum darkness. Dont know where you got the 6% max from. " There are several passives that help you with that just like in POE1. One of the are called "Asceticism" maybe check it out and search for more in the passive tree, there is a search function in the top right, very useful! Oh and the charms that make you immune to stun, they are pretty useful as well if you find yourself having that issue. " I just do not see this as an issue at all and who knows, maybe there will be other types of flasks later, this is just EA and they have already said that its about 50% of the game. " Are you playing WASD with one hand? How are you looting stuff and aiming your skills? " Just wrong, maybe look at other weapon skills and actually read the ascendancy, you did think 6% chaos damage was the max so you thinking this is not that surprising |

" They have said before the EA that some builds will get "bricked" during patches and updates, no news there. We are all spending time willingly in this game, no one is forcing you to if you feel stressed about it. I would probably not play a game that made me feel stressed, just a tip. And these nerfs are not the issue for why you cant finish the campaign.. |

Hello GGG!
Please consider buffing Giants Blood to only require 2X the stats requirement rather than 3X. I believe you calculated 3X back when passive nodes gave us 10 stats, and we had 50+ stats on gear. But right now passive nodes are only giving us 5 stats and a top rank mod in a piece of gear is 30ish stats. Giantsblood is dead on arrival if not fixed. |
