It worries me to read this. I am waiting for a response since last Tuesday. Really annoyed by the fact i am not able to play... but hey at least i payed them.
the pain is that we all paid them, and they are not able to set up an auto-response that supports receiving our requests. in light of the recent problems with their email server (letters did not arrive) it becomes really sad. I really hope that fresh blood in the rows of the support department will speed up the process...

Because they are swamped and there is no indication of the mail ever being received more people are re-sending emails making the issue worse.
However you have to email daily because you have no idea if any of them are actually getting through. It could be that an email gets 'lost' with all the bounce messages. email is not a guaranteed delivery.

If only there is a way to let a sender know you have received a support email and it is in a queue?

exactly my issue. Closed my account within 1-2 hours but are not able to reply for 10 days now. This is just unacceptable. Never been so dissapointed in a customer support unfortunately.
Let me tell you, later you get their email you will receive:

"Hi there,

Thank you for the message. Can you please confirm for us if this is still an issue?

If so, can you please confirm for us your Path of Exile account name and the names of a few of your characters?

Thank you again"


Then, after you reply, radio silence again. lmao
