Zalmarath, The Colossus glitchy one shot (HC experience ruined)

It's christmas holidays now, but i hope that it will get fixed in the next patch. Just disable this attack temporary if a fix is too time consuming, it really make hardcore a gamble right now on this boss.

Since who knows when this will be fixed and I already had 3 HC characters waiting I decided to try it.
Used fpsthirty#6961's video guide for 2 ranged characters, that does look quite safe. For the invoker ice strike monk I tried to get my dps as high as possible then went in with the same guide and waited until I saw him doing any attack where the animation takes a bit of time so I sneaked in a few hits then went back to the safe spot. With fpsthirty#6961's guide for ranged characters it can be done without a heartattack but for melee chars it is a nightmare. I probably also got lucky. Regardless of my 'success' (I can still see myself losing chars to this boss) I'll continue to bump these threads as often as I can until this is fixed because I still think it is horseshit.
