Vine Arrow slow is not applied

there is no slow but does the poison even work? it says if i poison the plant that poison should spread to any mob connected to the plant, am i reading it wrong?

The plant/vines do not cause poison damage or poison. They cause chaos damage based on the poison they were touched by:

"The plant sprouts vines that latch onto nearby enemies, Slowing their movement speed and dealing Chaos damage over time (not poison). The plant can be Poisoned, causing it to deal more damage"

If you expand the ability while looking at your skill menu and look at the "vines" tab it shows the chaos damage per second and incoming poison stored as 50%.

What isn't clear to me about this ability is whether or not multiple vines should impact a single enemy, and are multiple poisons stored to increase the damage? It's very hard to quantify in testing because as you deliver poison to the vine you're probably poisoning the mob on top of it as well.

from the vocal description and the written it sounds like i can poison the plant to spread 50% of that poison to vined enemies. like you said, it is very difficult to tell because the gas arrow just poisons everything anyway.

however, if the plant is poisoned and the mob run out of the cloud but is still vined it doesnt seem to keep taking the stored poison damage as the poison stacks just fall off.
Testing after each patch just in case they forgot to mention it was fixed ... It's not.

Kind of shocked that this bug is still present 2 weeks after launch, considering someone mentioned it was working properly in the beta. This was the poison skill I was actually the most excited to try out :(

Even with the encumbrance support gem, no slow is applied at all.
