Bug Poe2 - Legacy of the vaal quest

Killed boss and looted large core but dropped it, alva and the game thinks I have it and using the stone altar in the infested barrens has a half animation that stops mid way. When I reset Jiquani's Sanctum to kill the boss again he doesn't loot the large core.

I cannot progress in the campain.. please help

did u solve it somehow? i have the same problem

yea I'm going through the same thing as well. I don't want to get the second ascendency too. so quests the only thing. second ascendency mechanics still need work. my minions stayed up in the hill while I went down alone lol. such sad moments

Im stuck at the same quest but i suppose different bug?

I can't find Jiquani's Machinarium, i've been exploring map like 3 times.

No luck.
I went into Trial of Chaos while having the quest.
Luckly i've got ascendancy, but can't do anything right now except exping :S

After checkin the map 1000 times i found the entrance where i killed the chimaera in the first place and the entrance poped up....

I hate everything.... Especially the ACT 2 final boss...

Here is how i fixed it, I reloaded the instance (control + select the area either from a waypoint or area that connects to it and select new instance) and found it after searching again

machinarium entrance is in the Chimera boss area, available after defeating it.

I already tried resetting the instance and clearing it multiple times, boss doesn't loot the item still. Game thinks I'm on the next quest I guess.
