Game does not log in to the correct Gateway/Server

SO I tried this. Switched my gateway to australia (i'm in vancouver so rightly so autogateway selects calif for best ping). Get this though. the result for australia is the same as the result for california..or texas or toronto. 160ish ms. Like the whole choose a gateway thing at this point, is bs.

US East here. I get random ping spikes no matter what server I am on, ran a traceroute, and see I am being routed through an Amsterdam address no matter what. These ping spikes are extremely obnoxious and I hope it is fixed soon.

Mine is set to Australia, I keep getting sent to singapore for some reason.

I'm suddenly having this problem after switching to a new PC. I choose Frankfurt or any EU gateway on login and I log in to Texas every time.

The game is literally unplayable.

Why is this suddenly happening now? I've never had this problem with the game before.

Edit: so manually selecting the gateway doesn't work, it puts me on Texas instead of whatever I select. However, letting it autoselect works for some reason and puts me in an EU one. Probably won't work for everyone, but worth a shot?
