Game does not log in to the correct Gateway/Server

Same, noticed it last night as well.
SA gateway would at random choose an EU server once in game, I've seen Paris, Frankfurt and London.
When doing so the latency is also not stable and fluctuates quite a bit, resulting in very jittery gameplay which does not feel great at all.

A band aid solution for those playing on SA is instead to manually select London Gateway, which has the lowest latency (at least from Cape Town and surrounds) this forces London and "smooths" out the latency with minimal fluctuations.
Not ideal since you'll be playing on 150+ ms but its at least way more manageable compared to rubber banding or ice skating across your screen.

By the sound of some of the other replies here it might also not be unique to the SA gateway.

SEA players here, only at the beginning map I was thrown to the Singapore Realm, after that I was just thrown under EU or US servers despite I have set the gateway to Singapore specifically.

Please fix this issue as the latency is much of a bigger deal in this game because of the dodge roll and boss mechanics

When I paid for Early Access, I assumed I would be playing on South African servers.

Please fix these servers or a few of us will pursue getting our money refunded.
