There is a post somewhere in one of threads here with a reply "guys i managed to fix the problem, i've been playing for 8 hours straight and my PC only froze once", come on man, this is not real.

I reeeeeaaallyyyy want this fixed man, on launch it worked completely fine for me so I got a taste of how the game is SUPPOSED to run, but the last 2 patches ruined the game performance for me :(

And I swear I read this guy on Twitter saying: "It didn't happen to me, I have a 4090, your computer is weak" so I told him that was just stupid. He followed with: "It's bottleneck".

Yes, this is individual for each user and appears more/less (or does not appear at all) with each patch. I had no problems until the December 9th patch. After that, I hard crashed 3 times in an hour and stopped playing. I tried it after today's patch, after ~2 hours there was a hard crash again.

And yet some ppl still claim that GGG has nothing to do with this XD

I restored my pc to 23H2 and so far issue is solved.

Have had this issue since launch.

I refuse to mess around with windows update rollbacks or limiting CPU core affinities etc.

However, one thing i tried today before giving up until next patch was to both switch render to Vulkan from Dx12 and also limit background FPS to 15.

Either one or both of these things have resulted in going from full PC lockup every few loading screens to having no issues in hours of play.

Hopefully this may work for someone else but this is obviously a complicated issue and won't work for everyone.

Worked for me after changing gateway server.

The only thing that helped me is deleting cache and then locking those folders up. The issue is definitely with cache and should be fixable.

Now I can even minimize the game while loading and it does not crash! WoW, it would certainly crash before the fix.

Also have this problem, yesterday crashes full pc (cpu reaches 1000ms) and i had to hard reset pc, but today when the game crashed, my entire pc slowed horribly. The plus is that I was able to restart pc without using power button.
