Set affinity to steam, then everything that you start will inherit it. And yes, seems worse on crashes lately.

poeuncrasher worss sometimes but not always where as manually setting affinity works for me on both my machines.
How do you set affinity on steam?

Adding my voice to the people with the issue. I get it software/gamedev can be hard but it baffles me that the only communication on the issue is "Send logs please".

It speaks volumes about how the company will treat customers if they go silent on an issue like this. We're basically being told "you're on your own"...
