Hard crashing PC locks up

I'm still crashing, even after the latest hotfix.

I think a lot of people cant downgrade to 23h2 because they built new PC's recently. If you go to download windows iso for a new pc, the only option you get is 24h2.

Honestly, it's not ideal to have to rollback OS updates just to run a beta client of a video game. If this many people are experiencing the same issue across a wide variety of hardware setups it requires a developer response. Whether that's from GGG or Microsoft only they would know.

People have been saying to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode (which I know won't work, even if it seems to temporarily) and set processor affinity. Not sure about the latter option but I'm still hesitant to try when I know it's something they're likely aware of and working on. I just wish they gave us patch notes somewhere. So far there have been two updates through Steam - one very small update and a 350ish MB update but there's no mention of what they do anywhere. Only confirmation that this issue still exists and hasn't been addressed is the activity on this thread.
GUYS, I THINK I FOUND THE SOLUTION:

(At least it worked for me). Enable Dynamic Resolution.
I turned it off in the beginning and after turning it on i stopped crashing.

Agree, I think this is already a serious bug, and the priority should be the first
Guys, the problem is... I have tried multiple things, disable Nvidia Overlay, change to Vulkan, ezc and I was thinking that did fix the problem as I have been playing for hours but then freeze happened again.

Now I tried to upgrade to the latest AMD Chipset drivers and that did not help wither.

GGG this has to be fixed on your end, this does not happen in other games to me except POE 1 sometimes.

Except it does happen on other software and is specific to w11 24h2.

RTX 3060 TI
I5 12400f
32GB DDR4 RAM
2TB NVME
1TB SSD

All drivers and Windows up to date according to Motherboard Manufacture.

Random PC lock ups and freezes
Removing 4 cores' affinity worked for me, was finally able to load into Clearfell.

Ryzen 9 5900X
RTX 3070
W11 23H2

Glad its not just me. Is it still issues with multithreading?

Actually think you're probably right. It's weird that I haven't experienced this in other games, though... maybe those games have somehow patched around it to prevent system freezing?

Regardless it'd be nice if we had some kind of confirmation from GGG that this is what's causing the issue on PoE. Guess the only option is to roll back OS or wait for Microsoft to release another update...
