" Yes, it works with very very good equipment, but it's still hard on the last difficulty level (the last 2/3 waves + wave n°9 where there's no space) ... even with temporalis. I'm trying to adjust the build around temporalis to make it more successful. |

" That's good to know. Though, our equipment is not at the pinnacle of what it could be so will likely avoid going past t0 until that changes. Interested in seeing how your build looks at this point though if you're able to push that far. |

I see you have cast on crit comet at roughly 400k, and I can't get it even to 100k. This is my build https://pobb.in/FAZozHrQBob1 and it is almost identical, with many different items of course, but I can't figure out what is your major multiplier that makes that much difference since when I remove your wand and legendary gem with +3 comets you stil have 75k there. Do you have some idea where I messed up ? |

![]() I feel some contempt about this thread bc of how bad 0.2 kicked in. Yeah, Chronomancer is the second least played class in this league. All those nerfs were too devastating to keep playing, and there was almost no place for the sorceress in general. I saw some Frostbolt + Cold Snap Stormweavers, but, in comparison to the powercreep we had at 0.1, it's still a joke. And, personally, I just disliked Cold Snap a lot more than Bomb+Wall. Anyway, I don't have high hopes for buffs in 0.3, but I will play this league with this build unless the spell totem Hierophant gets released (the archetype I really want to play in poe2) to some degree. Playtime is kinda under the question tho, I don't know if I will make it to the endgame content. Hope y'all are doing well. Alright, so. No Hierophant release so far, so I'll play Chrono again. I'm pretty excited for 0.3 btw, seems like a good one.
Good news here, with those support gems changes, all classes get buffed, including us. But here is the thing, GGG wanna a Sorceress to be a multi-elemental class instead of just releasing Elementalist for that. More info will be in the patch notes, but the first opinion about it is quite mixed bc it complicates things a lot. Need to see the new passive tree here too. Ok, seems interesting.
First bad things. Frostbolt nerfed, less proj speed and less damage of projectile (not explosions), so only and only good with snakepit ring. Frostbomb as clearing skill was nuked. Too hard imo. But it might be good with new Snap skill (see below). Frostwall does 80% less damage within first 0.5 sec of being placed, should be fine for clearing, but will definitely be worse on bosses since placing walls on bosses make some crystals instantly destroy. And now good or new things. Eye of Winter was fixed, turns out shards thst eye of winter hit with didnt getting added damage from flame wall. Plus flame wall can get new lightning infusion mechanic to grant lightning damage to passing projectiles. Thats first route for main skill combo. CoC wasnt changed, and Comet was buffed with more base damage plus new fire infusion that will grant extra fire damage and base radius. So it stays as single target damage. Cold Snap was renamed to Snap and can be used on orb, like frost bomb that got longer duration which is good in this case. Cold damage of Snap is highest so it potentially might be another good option for clearing considering it can chain now. One thing unclear, is it going to consume orb, or it can be used repeatedly on orb as long as it lasts, hopefully second option which might be really strong for single target. Now theres Cast on Elemental Aipment instead of separate 3 elements, which should be better for clearing with new infusion mechanics. But now it cost 100 spirit instead of 60. Ice Nova just got new cold infusion, might be viable for clearing as well. Archmage was buffed from 3% to 4% damage per 100 mana, might be worth using now. New Orb of Storms might be route as well, and newly added skill - Frost Darts might be yet another option for main skill. Updated Quicksand Hourglass seems really strong with now permanent cast speed and aoe, but not consistent. So basically it starts at 60% cast speed and aoe, then during next 10 second it goes down to 1%, i assume linearly so 6% every second. On average its 30% cast speed and aoe, which seems decent. " Frostwall explodes immediately on most bosses so won't it be doing 80 percent less damage? Do you have to place it near the boss instead of on it and explode it manually? |

" If you place walls directly on boss, part of them insantly explode, so 80% less damage on that. But bosses move, have phases, so you not going to destroy them instantly. Besides, there might be completely new route for single target with frost bomb + snap. And actually its opposite to what i said about frost wall, it will be fine for clearing, but not so good on bosses xD |
