Except for the comet diamond, everything is exactly the same. I stop it and throw a meteor but it doesn't die. This problem occurred in the last level breach bosun, I didn't have any problems with the others.

Are you manually casting comet? Should be triggered from CoC and rain a whole bunch of them. You may need to use Temporal Rift or flask to replenish if your first round doesn't finish the boss off. I'm not doing nearly the damage some in this thread are and have yet to encounter any boss that I couldn't kill... you should be fine.

The same as what? Which build (budget range) are you talking about?

What are "others" you mentioned? Pinnacles like arbiter/king/orloth? Citadels? Or regular map bosses?

If you can't kill whatever I mentioned above in a second or two with the endgame build, you have problems.

I suspect smth about archmage and weapon sets. Trying to kill the boss with the secondary weapon set with archmage disabled is the only thing I can guess here.

Be sure to check it.
Secondary weapon set should have only blasphemy, curse, and offering. No offensive spells or other spirit buffs.

I am trying to make an expensive build. I can say that everything is the same except for the diamond +3 comet. The points I am having problems with are the t4 breach bosu and clearing the way to it. I am using spark. The dps varies between about 15/20 but I am having difficulty.

No, expensive build is installed and it automatically throws comet, but it runs out of mana on the first attack. It rains comets for about 3 rounds, but the boss drops to half health. and in breach i have a hard time killing creatures with spark, i have about 20k dps

Yes, 20k is way too low for spark. Atm I have 50/150k unbuffed/buffed and it's good enough. People say 40k buffed is ok to start, but I'm leaning to the "more" side. I switched to spark when I got 70k under all buffs. But that was before I switched to the endgame no-ES build.

If you can halve the boss hp per 1 mana pool you definitely not lacking the damage, you are missing the key point - refilling mana pool with Temporal Rift or Melting Maelstorm flask. This is exactly how we play.

Check this old video (literally my 1st Xesht 82 kill) and count how many times I refilled mana with Temporal Rift:

I have very similar stats to your build, but how do you provide higher dps for spark? I have completed the passives, if I give up some resistances on the ring, it will be around 23k dps

Exact gear, skill gems (and their lvls), and passive tree.
Video can do, but do it slowly.

From your screenshot above, I see that you don't have Archmage lvl 21, Spark lvl 21, and +3 amulet. So I'm not sure which build are you playing.

Just slapping Spark instead of Frostbolt in medium-budget build is what I don't recommend personally.

Alright. So:

1) Very low on mana for this approach. Should have 5.5-6k pool.

This is the result of missing mana/ES on the gear:

- Helmet. ES is good, but 30 mana is extremely low. Should have 150-170.
- Body. 750 ES w/o spirit is very low. Probably less than Morior Invictus can offer. Should aim for 950-1k.
- Ring. Target for a breach ring with 250-280 mana.
- Amulet. Yours is pretty good, but still missing about 100 mana. No need to upgrade this tho.
- Omen Sceptre. Should have at least 150 mana on it.
- Boots. Target for >150 ES and >150 mana.

2) Lvl of skill gems. I thought you didn't have +3 amulet, but the issues are somewhere else.

- Wand. Your's is quite good, but +4 is still stronger.
- Skill gems. It is fine to run lvl 19 gems for everything but main damage skills and the Archmage.
Spark, Comet, and Archmage should be lvl 21. You can get lvl 20 Archmage and just link Lightning mastery to it.

Other issues:

- Oaksworn. Absolutely irrelevant for us. Should have Arvil's Wheel for the increased duration.
- Fire Resistance. You have way more cold res than you need.

Summary: Need to upgrade everything but the belt, dream frags, gloves, and amulet. Wand is passable for now, so you should focus on other stuff. You need at least 5.2-5.5k mana, no less. You are missing a crapload of damage here.

Skill lvls are extremely important too, getting Archmage to the lvl 21 is your second priority after upgrading the gear.

Don't skip upgrades, guys. 4k mana is what we get with medium-budget build.
1.5k ES with 4k mana is way better than 6k mana no-ES build btw in terms of defense.
