The gear/tree/gems are exactly like in maxroll medium-budget/late-game..

BTW, i need 3-4 more divs to get From Nothing and I officially will switch to your endgame build from my one. Only thing left if Dream Fragments, but this is only after passive tree tweaking. I really like how spark is performing in mapping. 1-button bossing (well, 2, if time freeze counts) just amazes me. But anyway I want more!) Because delirious maps are too slow for my taste yet

I'm looking for advice, as I'm stuck on my Chrono, can't progress at level 90.
I've tried this build and it looks great but I'm still getting 1 shotted, which mean with the awful XP loss (that needs go!), after around 5 days getting to 90, I'm back to 0% into level 90.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but in order to upgrade my gear to get lots more mana (to survive 1 shots), I'll need 10 to 20 divs (I have zero).
So I keep trying to run T15, T16, do OK then die to some stupid laser fire beam or something off the screen, back to 0%.

Wit this XP loss, I'm just going around in circles.

Here's my stats at 90 (MOB, EB).
HP 1,530
Shield 1,530 (from Everlast Gaze amulet)
Mana 2,724

Is that about right for my level or should I have way more mana by now?

Any ideas what I can do please?

EDIT: I know about that Omen which reduces XP loss but it's crazy expensive (180ex the last the time checked), way outside a casual player budget.

Morior Invictus (even with 4 slots) with mana and resists (80-90-100 ex price) per soulcore AND Runes for resists (usual ones or +5% soulcores) will enable much cheaper gearing for tight budget. So you will be able to find cheaper rings, boots, belt, helmet with not so many resists, but with more mana on them. To insert + mana soulcores you need something to boost first. Later on when you will have some budget, replace resists in Morior with +2% mana, keep the same mana level on other gear and move resists there. At least this is what I would do with under 5 div budget while farming Chaos Trial for a couple of days to get 5 divs or soulcores :)

Unpopular opinion: take spark, boost your crit chance, adjust the passives a bit and from 45k spark dps you will just annihilate maps without mods like +resists for mobs, and +hp for mobs. Because spark travels for the whole screen, enabling the covardly-styled gameplay when you kill enemies before they see you. And walls for a bit control and urgent comets when placed right on the monsters pack while the floor is flooded with spark.

Extra: Omen Of Resurgence costs 10ex from currency exchange. 'Recover your life and mana when you are on low life'. Try it :)

Thanks very much for your reply and help.
I've bought one of those body armor and my mana is now 3099, which is better and resists now capped. Hopefully that makes a difference.

Yeah, I have a Stormweaver, so I'm kind of burnt out with Spark but good idea.

And thanks, yeah I was running with that Omen Of Resurgence on the deaths. I think they must have been insta kills, so the omen didn't work.

I'm going to try to farm Chaos for a bit, at least with me being back at 0% XP again, I have nothing to lose. :P

a casual player budget.

Stats you mentioned can't really tell much besides the fact you didn't go for CI for some reason. I'd recommend doing it so it would free you from stacking chaos resistance on your gear.

- Take a look at the build: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/6x7q0cm3

Choose everywhere "early-game", and check the passive tree too. There are lvl 85-95 trees there that would help.

- 31. Low-budget video compilation from maps to Pinnacles: https://youtu.be/ISKDUsl7_m8

Don't get distracted by the total cost, I messed up quite a bit there. Should cost less by now.

- Low-budget build (<2d) vs lvl 81 map with breach and boss: https://youtu.be/AGm0SU1A-rs

This is my recent low-budget demo, you should have smth like this early.

Thanks Monik. Because I was dieing so much, I was scared to take CI. But I've taken the plunge now, at least I don't have to worry about chaos now.

Not just offering (it's true that I run under the offering most of the time), I go kill some stuff too to trigger conditional buffs from passive tree and take a screenshot of damage under everything up.

Here is the latest post of cold damage shots before I got some decent stuff and switched to Spark, under all buffs:

I don't run dynamism. Maybe it changes a lot.
With soul offering, I am at 49k for explosion, with same tree. Maybe I can go kill some stuff to trigger some passive.
I have only 3668 Mana. Crit on Frostbolt is 52.2. A bit too high

What about Archmage? 20/20%, right? (actually can buy 21/20% right now for 6d so you won't need to put Lightning Mastery support there).

400 mana with ^ makes quite a big difference.
No, only 18+1 from mastery.
What is the cut, 20 and 22? I remember it doesn't increase every level.

Also on my talisman, I have insightful, I can change it. You have Wild storm. Do you think it is better than telectrying nature? 15% max vs 25% overall

lvl 21 is the breakpoint of the archmage. We do it lvl 20 gem + lightning mastery support. 20% quality matters too.

Get this done asap fr.

Electrifying nature is shit. It's just "25% increased lightning". You are still doing cold damage, so take a look at elemental or just damage. Dynamism has 40%. Crashing Wave has 36% and it's quite cheap too.

Don't bother with Wild Storm until 5.5-6k mana and Spark switch. Your portion of Cold damage on cold spells with 3.6k mana is quite big for it.

Dynamism is good. Crashing Wave is a cheap alternative to it.

You are a bit late:

Interesting, I thought Dynamism wasn't doing much because I don't proc CoC anymore during mapping. Maybe Crashing Wave is better now since the update. What do you think?
