brother Pls post a build or something .. just the start .. i just need something i can hang on

There are builds linked in this thread that do what his build does. There’s not a ton to change.

Get chaos nodes, pick a defensive layer (ES, ES+CI, armor/life, evasion/ES) and get some curse/hinder/wither nodes.

Get some +chaos skill modifiers.

where can i find that?!
Just a skill tree or stuff?

Look through the thread where people link their builds. Find a build that is talked about and try it.
Impending doom on blasphemy makes hexblast a bit stronger
Is there a cap to Wither effectiveness? Wondering if there is any value in it on jewels after taking the withered away passive.
Can we post this under sorc instead of witch? Been following since launch only to realize that Ichigo, after watching the shorts, is now using a Sorc.

Is it supposed to be a teaser?

Take your time and write the best guide, we appreciate that it is a big investment and requires a lot of testing.

But killing T12 boss when we are already farming t15+2 on bonus difficulty is hardly an achievment and looks a bit strange...

Hello all, I have updated my build guide here for Infernalist.

https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/21a13227-9ec7-4c9d-861b-855520d1d045/builds/4b4775cf-5534-4ad2-be5b-9b5ee1b1a2e3

I am now doing map clear with Hexblast + poisons and using ED to give supplemental DPS on bosses or extremely dense activities like Breach and Ritual.

Ultimately this feels 10x more comfortable to play as you can do 80% of mapping with a single button, 15% with 2 buttons and the final 5% might require 3-4 buttons.

I have left the tabs up for the old style of just ED Contagion, but I highly recommend giving poison Hexblast a try.

Intrigued by this list, any pointers and things to go for when starting out with this build in mind? I'm only in Act 2 yet so clearly a long ways to go, but want to start focusing my build.

this skill tree is so much waste of points.

Why he is going to spells or curses but skill 90% just mainstat instead of boosts

Could you explain why do you think this build is not optmized?

I just started playing and I didn’t understand your point.

the generic "boosts" in the tree are pretty useless tbh. like entire wheels of chaos giving 7% per node... you won't even miss that. a few 10% spell damage nodes? pointless honestly

Even if you try to squeeze every single % damage node on the tree, it won't make mapping any smoother and it won't make bossing any faster. Focusing more on ES, gem level, and poison for hexblast as a "more" modifier is about the best we can do to realistically raise damage with the current tree.

I focused on energy shield and mana because that is what makes mapping easy/safe. I grabbed zone of control because without it blasphemy range is drastically smaller, that single curse wheel is HUGE qol for mapping. If you want to actually boost your damage, then drop the QoL node of "Mastered Darkness" and let the demonflame stacks flow through you. That is legitimately the only way to actually scale chaos damage to anything remotely resembling high damage you see from other builds when doing bosses. Nothing on the tree will give you that.

The goal of this build is for easy clear of campaign/mapping, not uber boss dps. Just about every node I take it accommodating stress free mapping and as shown in the video its pretty much just a chill walk through the map with no stress of dying at all

Regarding wither cap: With the Withered Away passive allocated the debuff icon on mobs shows '70', which I assume is total wither damage multiplier; (0.5+(0.5x0.4))x100 = 70%. It still shows '70' with a 14% wither effectiveness jewel added to the passive tree, so I assume that 70% (7% per stack) is the cap if this icon is to be believed.

EDIT: May be worth considering skipping the Withered Away nodes for some people depending on passive set up if they can hit cap with 3 jewels, since the when enemies enter your presence part isn't a big deal?

Yep, wither jewels don't work for me on my hexblaster, sucks.
So, as I'm reading this, is everyone just switching to hexblaster or is there someone still trying to make DoTs feel somehow decent?

And is there someone going Blood Mage? I really don't want to reroll, not feeling like doing the campaign again... I rather invest effort to try to make it work better.
