Path of Exile 2 - Ascendancy Classes in Early Access

Why does Infernalmancer look like a suicide pill?

There's nothing in this tree which really seems to balance all the life reservation and Mana tradeoff. One of the passives will actually kill you if you take life reservation. (100% ES/Life damage as fire damage if vs 25-75% life reservation = you will die if you accidentally spam skills....)

I know there's probably some itemization which balances this out, but an ascendancy tree shouldn't be based on itemization.

It's almost like it's exclusively built for SRS or RF builds.

Even then it's pretty scary.
All Ascendancies look great! Cann't wait ot test many great build!
My guess is that the theme here is each exile now has one item intensive tree and one standalone tree. There's no way Infernalist is a standalone tree. There has to be a unique item based around infernal flame.

Wait a second if you take the reserve nodes in infernalist, you will be at 75% life reservation so it will put you in low life? But is there another way to reserve the 15% needed for low life any other way?
Maybe unlock ascendancy-swap by ascending (1st) all 6 classes?
That way you can swap your one highlevel but everyone plays all classes (high chance for char swap) and high chance to continue on the lower lvl ones :)

Chronomancer looks as boring as the trailers implied.

Wow warbringer must have been way overpowered in testing. Crazy to give 40% block base in the first node (probably only a 15-25% increase over shield stats) and then take 35% away with the second node. Seems like they might want to take a closer look at that path. LOL.

The first node gives you 40% base, no matter the shield.

The second node only takes away 14% of that 40%, because it's 35% less, not -35% chance.

In return it lets you block everything, even stuff that would normally be unblockable with passive block.
Thank you!y by
