Same here. PoE1 player that got early access due to past purchases, only to find out it is a Steam/Epic key and on Steam PoE is region locked for me (Hong Kong).

From the FAQ (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3587981 under "When will I be able to download the client?") the client will be available for download a few days before EA launch.

same here, I received the lifetime key but it says that it is only for the steam client so I don't understand if it will also be valid for the standalone client or they will be 2 distinct and separate things, my client has always been the standalone and I don't want to start use steam now for poe2, in any case I will wait for them to release the official client

Claim Key is just to install the client on said gaming platform, standalone client will be available next week I believe, and as long as your account has access to it you won't need anything else

Congratulation to all of you who got the notification already, and for the rest who didn't keep waiting, it should appear if you are indeed elegible if not... buy a kiwi! :D

Can confirm, I have received key to enable client in library.

HOW TO ENABLE:
Open your Steam client and on lower left corner of the screen, while you are in library view, press ADD A GAME => ACTIVATE A PRODUCT ON STEAM and paste the KEY you received here.

There will be the standalone client so no steam required

Mine clearly says it:

You can download and play on the standalone client once it becomes available.
