Path of Exile 2 on Mac with Crossover 24?
I'm really bummed that the team pulled back on releasing POE2 on Mac for beta release. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a good chance if downloading Steam and playing POE2 via Crossover 24 would work?

same question, why no mac client?

bump!
I would love to know the roadmap for Apple silicon Macs. With all the hype and the number of users with M4 Macs, there is a huge potential market of new and returning exiles. |

I'm going to try as well. Hopefully we find some workaround.

Bump. Would be nice to get a confirmation if we even have a chance on running this via CrossOver.

I would also like a roadmap for Apple support.
Working on troubleshooting my PC, it had issues since I bought it and it's only getting worse. Hopefully I can get it up and running before early access. Having to wait for apple support could take a really long time... Common subjects about Mac support: -Intel Mac vs Silicon -CrossOver compatibility -Rosetta compatibility -Native support -Parallels -GeForce Now I wasn't expecting this to be a problem. As I learned about my new Apple product I realized that it's a lot different than I thought. Was honestly hoping to get away from windows and PC, it's been a bad market for so long. Hopefully things will get better for Mac. Update* I read a GGG post saying GeForce Now will be supported. I’ll try to find it again if anyone is interested. Was having trouble logging back in here. " Roadmap is never. They will never invest in Apple silicon support let alone make a native macOS client. It will always run under the Rosetta virtualization layer. As for CX or Whisky support, chances are it will work just fine using Apple’s GPTK v1. Deliver pain exquisite

Well hopefully that guy is wrong. He can’t speak for GGG

I would also love a native Mac port. I have an M3 Max that should be plenty of performance for this.

I'm really hoping this runs on crossover when it releases. I just bought an M4 Pro macbook for work and travel, which is a stunning machine. It would really be a shame if they didn't take advantage of the new Mac hardware... it's really quite impressive.
