POE 2 Key Regional Pricing on steam change

I had to do a sanity check. Same thing happened in my region. This thread and SteamDB confirms it.

More than a 100% above Steam's suggested pricing.
Unfortunate, but I'll hold out for a bit.

It makes sense. They would have "lost" about 67 USD with my purchase through Steam. (made 32 USD on their 100 USD pack)

We south africans getting destroyed with the price tag 100USD is crazy expensive for me wanted the fortress but going from R829 to R1811.30 is insanity

What the hell man, im literally waiting for my paycheck to clear and the game doubled in price. So dissapointing.

I was unfortunate enough to not be able to buy the packs when they were still in regional prices. I'm kinda holding onto the funds for now. Fingers crossed they revert it back before EA or I'll have to settle with the cheapest key for now instead of being able to buy T2 upfront from Steam. #feelsbadman

Same here man it was sitting in my cart I was just waiting for my salary to get paid and boom the price doubled. Was a huge shock.

So, let me ge this straight, did they make an announcement about regional pricing?

I'm guessing people from the countries you see at the top have regional pricing, correct? I'm from Brazil, and when I contacted support about it, they simply told me to change the language of the website and bam, regional price was back.

this is what i got back from GGG support so SA people we just going to have to bite the bullet and pay R500+ for basic version and get none of the cool stuff
