POE 2 Key Regional Pricing on steam change

little late to this forum post but the support have said that they will not make any statements on it and even when i asked if we will get any form of official statement they straight out said "requesting this again will not change this" . So probably they are hoping to sweep this under the rug and give a middle finger to people who cant afford it
thanks for the update.
just so yall know whats at stake, a cup of coffee in the philippines cost 3 dollars on average
It's more the principle of it. If it's a mistake, then say so. Sweeping things under the rug is somewhat shady. That's all.
It's about respecting your community and supporters enough to address their feedback. They pull off a scummy financial move and then spit in everyone's face by pretending nothing happened. This post alone has 16k views - all it would take is a single support member to give a statement. It's a shame because it says a lot about how GGG operates, and that's disappointing if you were looking forward to POE2.
what are they supposed to say - "we are very sorry that you now have to pay the equivalent of what northern americans and europeans have to pay"?

we are not talking about columbia here where a dollar is worth a lot

Many of the nations who had their prices increased are poorer than the nations that still have regional prices in place. That makes absolutely no sense but here we are.

I already bought my key to play with some friends who bought theirs thinking I'd bought it because of my hype.
But this has left an extremely sour taste in my mouth and GGG will financially feel it, regardless of how insignificant it may be compared to their overall profit.
They wont get more from me after this for their absolute lack of transparency or even the courtesy of an explanation to all the people who have supported them for years.

Yes. For example:

Regional pricing for most regions was a mistake. This has now been rectified. We expect there to be no further changes in the near future. Thank you.

He's saying that GGG making an announcement like that would be better than ignoring the issue entirely.
