Neither game is nearly fun enough to ignore all the feedback regarding unskippable campaigns.

Personally, I prefer it stay the way it is right now.
Dang, I thought this was the path of exile, not the skip of exile...

Another 4 people incorrectly asserting I'm saying the game is not fun. Guarantee I have more fun with the game than all 4 of them combined. They're reading it wrong and I say let em cook.

Their not reading it wrong, your whole post is just idiotic.

They're, not their. And they are reading it wrong.

Y'all keep reading it as "ThE gAmE iSn'T fUn!!!!1111111oneoneone", and quite frankly I think y'all need to go apologize to your english teachers for ignoring all of their grammar lessons.

If you parse it out, the implication is that there can be a status where its fun enough to ignore feedback about the campaign being unskippable. Its not there yet though. They aren't meeting their goals or their goals aren't ambitious enough. We've laid out the lowest effort ways to address the issue.

"addressing" something doesn't mean they will give you campaign skip, they can also say no, which they did already, boohoo..

less time spent on belly aching about having to play the campaign leaves more time to get through the campaign

or you could just ignore what you're wrote in the title and be all grammar police about you're precious english being dragged through the mud

I don't really mind doing the campaign each league, but I will also agree that it gets old if you have to do it for each character in that league.

We're all adults here, and I'm sure we can compromise. They could make it so you have to do the campaign on your first league character, and then allow you to skip it. Or in a more extreme way, make it so you earn the right to skip it: like reach lvl 90 with your char, or beat a certain boss. That way, you still do it (GGG happy), and you have a way to skip if that's what you want (players happy)
or just make it cost gold to unlock the npc that enables it.

I get that y'all like to ask streamers, who functionally get paid to play through the campaign ad infinitum, about it. They're wrong though.

Like I'm actually in awe of how they managed to functionally repackage the entire game and leave this unaddressed. It beggars belief. There was a short amount of time when GGG was saying they were going revise how people get ascendancies that looked like they were going to be making moves to address all the feedback about the unskippable campaign but then they took an abrupt left turn about all of that and here we are, another year without it being addressed.

You mean to tell me you come up with 40 unique challenges each league and can not come up with a way to unlock some way to streamline the leveling campaign? People literally funded and tested every feature in this upcoming game for you and you can't even bother to listen to them when they're telling you things?

Not sure about the streamer part. I don't follow streamers (since Badger stopped streaming regularly).

However, GGG DID revise how people get ascendancies... watch the announcement - not sure why you thought it would also mean that people would be able to skip the campaign. I mean, there was A LOT of feedback about the Labyrinth and many people seem to dislike it.

Coming up with the challenges that hard. You they're basically very similar each league with some league specific stuff as the main variation.

And if you are such an endgame enthusiast... why are you sitting at 10 challenges?

D4 introducing the campaign skip made sense because they failed miserably to craft an engaging and tight campaign/story to progress. In that case the skip is unavoidable for repeat seasons because no sane person willingly wants to engage with Mephisdog, Neyrelle, and 80 other forgettable npcs for 30 hours of largely unskippable dialogue and fetch quests.

Assuming GGG avoid making a tedious/overbearing story campaign they can get away with no skip. In PoE yes the story/repetition got old but it's still tolerable to this day because you can speed through it.

Welcome to the thread. Now actually read the thread. This has been addressed ~6 times now.

"it's" not "its". There you go; I read some of "your" thread and IT IS fair to say this was a highlight given the condescension.
