Game freezes on loading screen

having the same problem, random crashes on load screens.
Started since an update some weeks ago, think it was a patch to make sure all the poe gear would be compatible with poe2. Crashes already at the end of the patch install and since then I have random crashes. Before that patch I had zero problems or crashes.
Have a MSI gaming laptop Pentium I7, RTX2060, win 10 22H2

Since the patch the game also starts up in window mode instead of fullscreen. Even if I change it and save it, next time the game starts up in window mode.
When the game crashes, it freezes up on my screen. With Alt+tab I can still select other active screens but they dont pop u on my screen when I release alt+tab. Only way is cltrl+alt+del and then sign off, or winows key, right click on the power tab and restart.
Sometimes I can play for hours and sometimes crashes in 10 min. I'm loosing the fun in the game if it continues. I tried already everything, nothing worked. After a complete full uninstall it seemed alright the first startup but after half an hour same thing.
Maybe I can update to Win 11, but I doubt it will work.
Is there no tech guy who can monitor the game while it crashes? I can only monitor my pc and it's working fine... in the task manager it says Poe not responding. How can we get through to the crew?


working good now for severel days like before, after a complete full uninstall. (deleting al leftover files in explorer) DirectX was default set to 11, changed it to 12, started up and so far so good

yeah this is it. I'm rolling back to 23h2 there is no way i can deal with crashes on launch day

I switch to Vulkan and it works, try it out guys.

Tried many things from this thread and in the end downgraded to 23h2 and all the freeze are gone (in poe 1 and poe 2)
