Game freezes on loading screen

OK so after a clean install with Win 11 23H2 and using the generally accepted Nvidia 561.09 drivers, can confirm all freezing issues and hard locks/force restarts are gone. Not just PoE but other games also.

24H2 has a lot of issues not just with PoE (just have a search on the win11 subreddit), and Id be suggesting anyone that is having any issues to revert to 23H2 (the ISO can be found with a bit of digging from multiple trusted sources)
This still occurs for me. No matter the rendering engine, in the loading screen the game simply crashes.

Specs:

CPU: 7800x3d
Win 11 24H2
GPU: RTX 4080

Pls ggg, I know this is a Windows related issue most likely, but other than disabling multithreading there is no reliable solution currently :(.
Edit because this fix does not work.

"
Search for "Edit power plan", look for "Processor power management", select "Maximum processor state", edit it from 100% to 98%.

Since doing this I haven't crashed after 3-4 hours of gaming. I'm not saying it works 100% nor do I understand why this might fix it, just sharing a possible fix. If this doesn't work please report back or vice versa.
Thanks

This doesn't fix the problem either, unfortunately.

Usually once I'm in I can keep going for hours without any issues, but now I've crashed 8 times in a row trying to get into the initial town load, into my hideout, or into a map. Extremely frustrating.

Yeah I just hard-locked again since applying this change. I guess I got lucky last night. Sorry to hear about how bad it's affecting you, it sucks.

I did just find a workaround, which, while annoying, works 100% of the time.

Each time I'm about to transition to a new zone, I disable engine multithreading in the PoE options, after loading I just enable it again.

Not exactly a great experience, but it does make my game never crash and run smoothly :)

Thanks for the tip, I will try it. Windows is aware that the patch is causing performances for Ubisoft games (hopefully games in general), so hopefully it won't be much longer, especially with poe2 soon :<

Is it possible the nvidia driver rollout today helps with the problem?

No, I had some hope as well but I'm already on the new drivers and have already experienced this crash twice.
Ugh. What a pain. I've just been playing without engine multithreading. The problem exists in PoE 2, as well, btw. I've had it happen in the closed beta.
