Who here has no interest in the relaunch of 3.25?

It's a shame GGG does not care about PoE1 anymore, wonder what the idea was? Guessing the vision of a ruthless/5000% slower version of the game or something?

But yeah rip, people are blind if they say PoE1 will be fine with the obvious signs of how much of maintenance mode the game is in now. Game's gonna have less development than Last Epoch.
I went for the box but i must say i twas interesting experience. IMHO that is how should look normal league from the start.

Let's be honest. Only few people on this forum are aware that PoE2 is not only new content, but huge step forward to develop things faster and with better results. They can't say this, but PoE2 will replace PoE1.
On Probation Any%
When I saw this in news first thought was: oh no, build and upgrade town again? Power rune? Hire again tier 9+ workers? With such a chore of gold gain?

No thanks!
This is what happens when you build your game cycle and business model around a 3 month window and train your players to expect fresh, new content every cycle. Given the extremely repetitive nature of the game, it needs something new and exciting or it stagnates.

SteamDB numbers say we've had ~6.7k players come back in the last 30 days. Which indicates that virtually no one wants to play this "refresh" league when PoE 2 was supposed to launch this coming Friday.

2024 is such a shitshow of disappointments for me, for real. Pretty much all the games I had on my wishlist turned out to be a waste of prior excitement.

Until Dawn, a game I've been waiting to play on PC for over a decade, got changes no one asked for that impact the flow of the game and warp the experience in a negative way.

Dragon Age Veilguard is no Dragon Age game but the biggest meme and disappointment for me in the last couple years. What an absolute gut punch for me personally. All I wanted was a remake of the 2009 original.

Black Myth Wukong - the dialog is atrocious, the combat is kinda janky, the level design is so barebones and in a way insulting... and I couldn't get a refund because I forgot about Steam's policy when using product keys. That one stung a little.

Yet another fucking Tomb Raider remaster and no new sequel to the trilogy that so far ended with a huge step backwards from Rise of the Tomb Raider. Bruh, Shadow of the Tomb Raider came out in 2018. What's happening. Over 6 years of agony.

Gothic 1 Remake had a playable demo at a con in Poland. Still no release date or beta test build and no real info about anything, except for a gameplay trailer in polish. Witcher 3 came out in 2015 and I've played through it so many times there's literally zero surprise factor left. I've been aching for a classic from-zero-to-hero Open World Fantasy RPG since the days of the Risen series.

No Rest for the Wicked - another major disappointment. Barely worth a mention after all that hype for nothing.

Manor Lords - where to even begin. Never got to play the demo everyone was raving about before it was removed. Then, finally, release day is here - and so much content missing. Yay... But at least the dev felt the need to block access to the demo for like 2 years.

Dragon's Dogma 2 - another gut punch for me. DD1 was one of those games I used to play on the Xbox back in the day when I still had one. And it's a bleak, lifeless clone of its former self.

Last Epoch official release, still missing a shit ton of content and basically boring after like 50 hours. An ARPG win that will need to cook for another 5 years minimum.

GreedFall 2 - what a clusterfuck. Just... no.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP - same old, no tweaks, all the garbage left in. If you have a console and the game, you don't need to buy this.

ARK 2 will probably be delayed again.

And now PoE 2 was delayed also.

Feels like the current meta for games is to have delay after delay, be riddled with bugs or unfinished/missing content, have performance issues, get higher price tags for remasters/remakes/ports and whatnot.

Thankfully, it's only 2 months to go before this mess is officially in the past. It surely can't get any worse, right?

I played till I got the free mtx box, got to maps, frustrated with how the league plays, gave up.

Skill issue maybe but I've played this game for so long that at this point I just don't care anymore. You can gauge my enjoyment of the game by the league challenges I completed, where I think only Perandus league is the one I got all the challenges done in lol.

Yeah, tho I decided to no go past 50, got the picture of how it will be pretty fast. And that picture is not motivating. Can assure you, its not a skill issue. Not at all!

Also trade is quite ded due to low and even divided online, so, why bother at all?

Good we have forums 😄

Silent hill 2, space marine, stellar blade, Elden ring DLC...

There've been some good games this year. Stalker 2 will be outstanding.

Silent Hill 2 and most likely Stalker 2 that will be my GOY

Every game you listed I either didn't play and/or I agree though.
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.
Man I am trying to enjoy it but sadly it's dead on arrival. Divine orbs are about to be 400c. It's an L.

Good news. RPG fans eating good. Metaphor and FF16. Playing both. SO EPIC

Yep. There's zero reason to continue making content on TWO free to play games when the only thing that makes you money, the MTX, is shared between them.
