What was the reasoning for running a second Settlers league concurrently?!

To be fair we don't know the extent of the issues. But in so honesty they can't run on a Skeleton crew this long and expect deadlines to be this tight. Their leagues got more ambitious and buggy over the years and it feels like things aren't being fine to fix the spaghetti code issues ( one of the big reasons to just make a new game anyway)

I'm not a programmer or designer but things aren't working as well as they would like. And they care about the perception of the game and their expertise.

Is a though situation. Poe2 is very delayed in general, poe1 is running on vapors. If poe2 fumbles it might spell the end of the positive hype they had for a few years.

Good luck nonetheless.

Every time someone advocates for "fresh economy" I translate it as "you will be broke and here is why you should enjoy it, now get to grinding chump."

"
c) for those of us that were done with the current league weeks/months ago, this is a chance to play some computer for a few weeks in this prolonged waiting period.

Or you could have a sense of moderation and now you would still find fun things to do and play and try in the game. I wonder, what would happen for player retention if GGG limited account playtime for 3 hours per day for the first month of a league start?

I'm probably screaming into the void here because the POE "community" is the top-tier level of extreme narrow-minded addiction of all ARPGs, or most games in general. You guys make WoW players look normal.

So your way of playing is the only way of playing?

Perhaps you should let people play the way they want to (and that fits their work schedules/lives in general) instead of suggesting we have no self control, and need "parental supervision" by having daily account limited playtime. And to top it of, you then suggest that anyone disagreeing with your notion is narrow-minded and additced, and lower tier players than those playing WoW?

Not sure how many Code of Conducts you just violated there, but well done for making something completely innocent extemely hateful and personal to those that dare play the game at a different cadence than yourself.

Ever stop to consider that some of us work for extended periods without access to PC games, and then have it in shorter bursts of time, in which play a lot?
