Hey GGG its about time you let us start the game in hideout
+1
Login to hideout would be such a nice addition, nobody wants to wait for eons in a loading screen only to be flashbanged by the rainbow suit MTX everyone has. We really need an option to hide all mtx on everyone besides the player, that would fix a lot of the performance issues this game has no reason to have.
It would be nice to have this as an option.

I wanted to side with those who are saying GGG needs advertising but.. The performance is becoming so bad that the product is suffering as a result. Cant play with friends in the current version, why would i want to make more in town? It almost feels like they are trying to push the non whales out of the game, I cant buy a new pc every 3 years just for this game though im sure some people out there can afford that, Maybe im being a bit dramatic with the 3 year thing but it does feel that way on my end. " Have you tried to not play on a decade old rig? Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

" With zero information to back up that statement i would appreciate you not say such things, Thank you. Innocence forgives you Last edited by SilentSymphony on Oct 20, 2024, 1:17:50 AM

" " Your post speaks for itself. If your rig is more up to date you wouldn't have those mentioned issues. And no, decent hardware doesn't cost a dime in 2024 and lasts for a very long time with how powerful and dirt cheap everything is these days. It's just a silly excuse to blame the game for your own choices to stick with weak hardware. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid on Oct 20, 2024, 3:00:16 AM

"Well then, out of curiosity, what are your specs? The last guy I remember complaining about rogue harbor fps (that I asked) was convinced his i5-2500k was still good enough, because "PoE is a 12 year old game!". You never know.
lol i really like how forumers here tend to quickly want to pin the problem on the people facing problems.
for sure sometimes its a user issue. but even if it WERE a user pc issue. why are you guys being so erm... elitist? if a guys pc is good enough to play most of the game solo but lags up when other players are loaded in doesnt that mean the game's "feature" is actively making the player's enjoyment of the game worse? isn't it a good reason for GGG to remove this "feature" instead of blaming the user and ask them to "go upgrade yourself". this is quite objectively a clear cut example of the game being more enjoyable if the "feature" was removed. some people have aging pcs. i bought mine pre covid which was roughly at 1400 usd. my "lifelong" goal of saving up to buy a gaming PC. its still steady today and i can play most of poe without lag except of course blighted maps where i keep upgrading the ground attack towers or when i m playing with other players who spam a gazillion projectiles/second. can i AFFORD to upgrade? i could save up and buy a totally new PC. OR i could spend a little extra cash throwing money at GGG once in a while. its still cheaper to impulse buy stuff than save up to buy a pc. and some people probably cant afford to buy a new pc. the more people who enjoy playing POE means more people potentially spending more money on the game. whats with all this gatekeeping. " Exactly. Over the years I've thought about a way to create social gathering places that people wanted to go to instead of feeling forced to do it. I think a great way to do that for PoE would be to create an area where you can go that gives you a temporary magic-find boost. Say, head to the local 'tavern' for 3-5 minutes and receive X% to magic-find for X amount of time. It's optional but I'd go. I also think people would actually meet others and group up, make friends. There are so many logical solutions to things like this, I just wish developers spent a bit more time thinking about the players instead of the board room and bottom lines. But what do I know, I'm just a customer. The nerfs will continue until morale improves.
