What makes you rage quit?

1) Adulthood
2) Job
3) Life nuisances, problems, issues
4) Depression

When I have had my fill of the F&G mechanics. So far so good, probably helps that I have 0 urge to play the other ARPG out right now due to the even worse state of those compared to PoE.
I dont rage quit but I dont want to start up the game next day after failed rng "crafting".

Humans feel losses more than they feel gains. About 40% more according to some studies. Maybe in my case its even more as I just cant stand watching perfectly good currency fucking burn and disappear. It sours the whole game for me.

i had a friend quit because of bad crafting results. i actually told him beforehand that crafting is not for people like him who play casually :p he should just buy his gear.

yes that makes perfect sense but what if you want to play something weird and no one crafts what you'd want...

making your own build or a build that is not meta is not really good in this game....unless you are a veteran of course. my friend is still kinda new.

1. "bullshit death" for sure my defenses are laughable but i really the fact that i can blast 3-10 maps with absolutely ZERO issues then because one mob had some weird combination or i was suddenly in a bad position (such as eater influenced titty shakers spawning out of nowhere and titty shotgun me to death). it really incentivizes me to just stop playing poe.

in fact i had "quit moments" several times this league but i tempered my expectations. i just wanted to see what i can get out of my settlers trading.

2. feeling like the devs direction and mine does not align. this is actually a long term rage quit which i actually wanted to quit POE forever.

this happened primarily when poe2 was announced to be separate. it felt like a huge betrayal. i resented GGG a huge deal for this. BUT with the various interviews with GGG openly talking about how melee is so bad the best way to fix melee was to just make a new game. i kinda relaxed my stance.

if i quit poe1 permanently now, its more of loss of interest rather than anything else.

tho its really hard for me to say anymore now as GGG has shown theyre willing to shake things up with affliction and settlers.

Have you tried with craft beer?

I have rage quit on occasion after losing an instance to server instability. Running 24 maps to get an invitation only to lose it to connection issues is just so gut wrenching. Same for a heavily invested into map.
