Where's the Path 2 Information?
" Do you work at GGG and try to share secret insider news of a delayed release or is it more of a pity "source: trust me bro" Fomo moment because they do what they usually do and throw out a EA first before they release the f2p game to the public? It's not the first time they did that as a early access already happened long ago with the full releases of PoE1. Even if they somehow delay the game again it's in the best interest for both playerbase and devs to rather delay and release something good later on and not just a rushed unfinished and unpolished product. We've all seen how that worked out in D4 or various other games and it's just a embarrassing experience for every game dev and also unpleasant gaming experience for players. patience is the key word for success here as fomo and the demand for instant gratification is not always a battlewinner. I just hope they won't get too big a backlash when people realise the november early access isn't the complete game xD Actually had to tell a friend that hopped on discord asking me about "the launch" and details around it. Early access is a very very broad term for gaming these days. I see a lot of people expecting the november thing to be as good as a complete product xD I hope GGG makes it perfectly clear before selling access packs :P

"Obsessed with PoE? What are you even talking about? We're excited for the new classes, zones, abilities, systems, builds, items, bosses, lore, endgame and so on. I don't know why you're so hung up on the "just three acts" - it's a non issue. We didn't have 10 acts in PoE 1 for the longest time, in fact that wasn't a thing until August 2017. We did just fine with Normal, Cruel, Merciless (and previously Ruthless) difficulties of existing acts. The game was growing and rapidly expanding on that model even. Besides, acts will be optimized and speedran after the first couple characters anyway. There's easily content and replayability for hundreds, if not thousands of hours, in early access to be had. You just have to actually play it and don't get hung up on non-issues, while trying to ruin it for everyone else involved. | |
" yes i am sure. hoping that a league that is supposed to be 3 month but its already 4 months doesnt get extended to 5 or 6 months, certainly doesnt mean that i am obsessed with the game. |
