Where's the Path 2 Information?

So I know how allergic most people are to hype, and how much they hate the pre-release media blitz so many games put out. We all remember Cyberpunk. But...well. It's been four months since the PoE2 Witch gameplay reveal, and we've seen jack monkey bupkis squat since.

Jonathan once said they were saving a lot of the juicier stuff like skill tree, Ascendancy, and endgame reveals for a marketing push closer to the launch date. The launch date* is just about one month away now. One month. Singular. Uno. Fewer than two. Unless they're planning on pulling the rug out from under us again and shoving the EA launch out another five months, we should be seeing some of this stuff by now, ne?

I know all that stuff changes dramatically as the game gets tuned, and everything EA is subject to adjustment, change, and even being dropped and replaced altogether. Frankly that's no different from PoE1, as I continue to quietly mourn my once-beloved Raider Ascendancy. I'm totally cool with stuff changing, and I'm not necessarily 'upset' that we're being info-blackout'd save for what tidbits people keep gleaning from TGS. Which, reminder, was not supposed to have any major game reveals and was just supposed to be "Try our demo build of PoE2, just in Japan this time."

I suppose I'm mostly starting to wonder if they're planning another delay after all, given the fact that they're blowing off all their prime Media Blitz time. The stream in two or three weeks is gonna give them almost no time to actually tell us about PoE2's EA before we're all in it, and that just kinna seems like a shame. As well as just weird.

Anyone else starting to faintly worry the Big News in the stream in early November is gonna be "Sorry y'all, we've got to push it out till next July. we hate to do it, but it's just not ready yet"?

I think EA isn't the release and it'll be 3 acts with just a fraction of poe2 endgame (according to reddit rumors), most likely not even all classes/ascendancys will be playable and actual release is 1-2 years away

Let them cook, assume we'll get alot new information during next livestream
My prediction is no new info until the livestream announcement on November 1st, and then two weeks of feverish info dumps on the daily, aimed towards causing a frenzy and selling more supporter packs.
If you go to the https://www.pathofexile.com they added a banner thats says "Path of Exile 2 Eary Access Launching November 15" and it links to PoE 2 website.

It would be nice to have an actual forum post detailing how to get into the EA as the amount of $$$ spent is probably enough to grant access but an actual post would be nice to clarify do I need to register, is it automatic or what?

They did confirm this, in broad strokes. There will be Supporter packs that grant EA access keys, and anyone with a given amount of lifetime spend on PoE - stated to be ~480$, i.e. the cost of a top-tier supporter pack - will be granted access without need of a new pack. Not that most of the Badge of Shame hoarders aren't going to get packs anyways, but we'll get *more* keys we can palm off to friends or such.

Registration isn't required for any of that. Nobody has said if there's a drip feed of 'free' keys one needs to register for, but I remember rumblings from the PoE devs that said they enjoyed watching people track those free drops but also the system didn't work very well and they wouldn't do it the same way again if they ever tried. So no clue there.

But essentially, EA will be paid. Buy a pack, get into the game. I doubt the pay barrier will be high, especially as these packs are likely to replace the current Core supporter packs and those always have a basic entry point, but still.
Early Access starts on Nov 15. They'll announce more in the livestream prior to that Early access.

Important note most people seem to gloss over: Early Access does not mean full game. The purpose of EA is to test stuff, while slowly adding more things in (some of those things are not even finished, guarantee it).
People need to tone down their hype, EA will have a limited game, frequent wipes, and all that usual stuff that is done during testing. Same stuff happened with POE 1 back in the day.

At what point do you people get tired of coping? They specifically said many times the game will release in full and thats why its taking so long. Jonathan mocked the D4 release as a failure because they released the game in Early Access and allowed players to burn out on the game before it was fully released. "Oh but we will not do that mistake, Poe2 will release in full for everyone at the same time for free"

I remember when this was a 4.0 update delayed because the "engine rework" took longer than expected. I dont blame anymore for not remembering it, its been almost 6 years. Whatever they have been trying to cook, i dont think its edible anymore.

I hate to bear bad news, but Jonathan Rogers has stated it's very likely the initial EA release of PoE2 will not contain all of the game's Acts. We've knwon for a while that it will not contain all the character classes, and will actually contain very few Ascendancies. The company has fallen victim to acute scope creep, and while this scope creep is in service to the best possible game, it means we're getting a stripped-down version of Early Access.

This doesn't necessarily mean EA will be poor. After all, BG3 did phenomenally with early Access, and their EA consisted only of the first third of the final game. I'm not concerned with an 'incomplete' EA period, but more with the notion that they seem to be repeating the pattern that happened before EA was pushed back five months last time. As cool as Settlers of Kalguur is, I'm honestly quite sick of PoE1 at this point and there's only so long my hype for PoE2 can last before it's time to simply put the game out of mind.

I'd rather not, I'm an ardent fan of what they're trying to do and I'm all for letting them do everything in their power to stick the landing. But there's also only really so far I can be led on before it becomes time to shrug and simply forget about Path of Exile - either version - until news drops.

Which, yes, is a 'me' problem. But hey. Why not post on the slim off chance someone from the company can reassure us, or if nothing else have some random discussion in between being bored at work?
There is one thing common with all ARPGs:

They only become exciting once that big update/expansion drops after a couple of years of some bland initial seasons/leagues shipped with the base game.

And that was not a lie. Once the game is done, and out of EA it will be available for all for FREE.

Early Access is not technically free. You either buy a pack, or have spent way too much on POE 1.

Oh, and I do believe they over-hyped it a tad. And once they did that they realized they were a bit to ambitious, and that led to the current situation. GGG's blame aside, I also blame the gamers. One will they learn that hype only leads to disappointment; temper those expectations, not because the game will be bad, but because a game will never be as good as you hype it out to be. People always want perfect, and that does not exist.
