" The issue does not involve how fun or difficult the game is. The freedom of the player to engage or not engage with content is key. On top of Affliction, Ancestor, Crucible, Sanctum, Kalandra, and Sentinel being optional, Archnemesis, Scourge, Expedition, Ultimatum, Ritual, Heist, Harvest, Delirium, Metamorph, Blight, Legion, and Synthesis were also optional. That's 18 leagues in a row that do not follow your "league content shouldn't just be optional" stance. Betrayal was the last unskippable league because of Intervention encounters and that was released 5 and a half years ago. Also, being in SSF doesn't necessarily force you to interact with everything. You can still turn off content using the Atlas Passive tree, right? Avid door opening enjoyer.

" Sure and I don't agree with the last 18 leagues. I play the league for the league, not to go back to doing what I was doing for 4 years straight. I get you want to skip it but I think you shouldn't. Otherwise play standard? You get all the new changes to core but without necro. That's your way of opting out. Just like in all other arpgs with league mechanics you don't like. Glad GGG have the balls to make players do something new for once. |

The long weekend here unfortunately cost us the capability to respond to larger changes as fast as we'd like and a huge lesson going forward is to make sure we don't deploy expansions on public holiday weekends as we don't have the personnel available to make changes as fast as we want.
This isnt the take away I would hope for. Long weekends are a great time to release. People love having an extra day or 2 to play. In the U.S. it saves vacation day starved people a 3 day + weekend they can book end with a couple days of paid time off. Many here get VERY few of these paid days. I'd rather the take away be, these should have been in on launch. What you released wasnt quality. Its not a few imbalances that need polished. It feels like a rush job or "good enough whatever" attempt. Not going to rant and rave just sayin. |

Anything about fixing Twilight Temple mobs getting stuck at 50% health? I would very much like to be able to complete my atlas and Kirac's vault pass.

Your argument is basically that people should engage in content that's a massive waste of time...just because. There's no challenge in it, no rewards (or hardly any as of now), no reason to engage in it. You're trying to defend a whole bunch of nothing...just because. Hopefully this will change soon. We all know that most leagues are in beta for like two weeks after launch, so there's some hope I guess. Fact is, the vast majority thinks the league in its current form just stinks. " So the complaint isn't you're forced to engage with it, it's that A: Not challenging and B: not rewarding? So make it more challenging and more rewarding? Would that solve it for you? If not then what are you complaining about? Cause as I see it, it's free quant/rarity/exp/chaos/divines that I normally wouldn't have for doing maps. Does everyone just have affliction brain and think we need 2 mirror drops a day? I don't get it. |
