The problem I see with this though is... this is creating something that will now be put into services on TFT or some form of trade. Im just thinking people that dont want to spam the bosses will now just look for people that DO the bosses so they can ... sell their invitation... that is now not itemized.

They really could have just kept it itemized and made it a 100% drop after all bosses are killed.

Takes a source of income ... I GUESS, away from people that sell the raw invitations right now that dont run them.

For the people that do run them though it's kind of a buff not having to worry about an RNG drop.

Really just is the whole, will be sold as service thing, something that the devs have said in interviews that they are trying to move away from, that I see it being an issue.

Just a slight problem I see with it. Not something that will effect me personally though.

Ok? Where's the problem?

Just the voices that dont really like services and "gaming the system" for trades rather than just having something tangible you can put in a trade window as an item. Having to kind of risk getting scammed sort of thing...

Again doesn't effect me, I run those if I need/want to. But different strokes for different folks that farm or use those as currency gains if they dont want them... will now have to be with an extra step/possibility of getting scammed.

They could have just kept them as itemized drops and made it 100% drop instead. Think it would just be a better version in general.

Not an issue/problem for me personally.
Bump your post as many times as you want. Its not like the Devs are changing anything your way anyways.

Generic I'm quitting/uninstalling post. Comes back to the game and none of the things they whined about changed their way. Only to whine about even more things.

If standard players get to benefit from stockpiling something like veiled chaos, they also get to make a loss by stockpiling invitations.

In regards to templeague I think it's more reasonable to make changes benefitting the players who play said content instead of sell that content.

Man, don't even try... if people are still desperately clinging to the belief that GGG cares about standard, despite over a decade of words and deeds, they are living inside a shell of denial which no possible amount of words or logic can penetrate.
Oh I don't write for OP's benefit, it's a much more diffuse hope than that. You'd go mad on a videogame forum like this if your goal was to change a specific person's mind.

Please do yourself the service of not treating numbers in a videogame as you would an actual investment. Or at the very least, acknowledge that investments go down sometimes, not just up forever.

You’re choosing to playing a game in active development. You know it changes over time. Some of those changes are, naturally, at some point, going to affect some things you have sitting in an inventory. It’s surely unreasonable to expect that not to be the case?

Hehe I've said the same things so many times in other threads.....historical denial is real

While I think this change is an overall buff for bossing strategies, which is something this game desperately needs over constantly catering towards blitzing maps, I also agree that they went about it in a weird way. Surely they're aware of how people dislike how TFT handles trading for services and the constant looming risk of being scammed.

Why they chose to make it so invitations are guaranteed, but not tradable, I'll never understand.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

This is just a guess but: I remember them calling invitations and similar atlas progression "milestones". Maybe the idea is to get more players to do the unlocks themselves by reducing RNG but increasing fricton for carries?

Sure, but could that not also be achieved by keeping the invitations as a tradable item? You can't run invitations until you've done the necessary legwork first (ex. Have Maven witness boss fights). GGG could've also made it where if you haven't also had Maven witness the bosses for the invitation, you won't be rewarded for having someone else complete it for you.

If you only farm them for sale then it's bad for you, yes. But in all other cases it's a good change. Those ones you have are pointless now. Probably they are still usable.
As an SSF/Private League gamer, this change is god-sent and the best of all the changes shown thus far. Have literally been hoping for the Uber Frag Harvest craft and removal of invitation RNG for I do not know how many leagues.

Not everything pleases everyone, but just know there's a lot of players for whom this is a fantastic change!
