The Numbers Don't lie

The numbers don't lie. Most concurrent players ever consecutively at this point in the league.

You give people QoL improvements (More inventory, ability to see rares), people stick around longer.

Give people the ability to actually obtain "chase items," people stick around longer.

Stop treating your players like an inconvenience. If people stick around longer they will spend more money. It's math.

The numbers don't lie.

Then maybe show them to us ? :p

Also, how much is this from the holidays (how do yearly graphs look like ?) / people trying PoE after getting frustrated with D4 / people hearing about PoE2 ?
D4 was dead for over half a year now. Crucible was when PoE got big influx of Diablo 4 refugees.
I mean across the whole last 12 months.

And D4 won't be "dead" for decades, even modded legacy D2LoD is still alive and kicking, just one example : https://www.median-xl.com/

4.5k online in discord... how many in actual game? 100?
I dont know exact numbers fro Diablo 4, but its pretty much dead. Blizzards games tend to be one of the most popular ones on the market. When they have online numbers simillar to some no name indie game... yeah, its dead.

D4 was DOA. It sold a ton simply because of the name alone.
It's a terrible game that didn't change AT ALL from closed beta to release. The devs ignored all feedback during closed and open beta.

Wait for their 70$ expansions. Everyone will buy it again and be suprsied that its shit, again.
We might have different definitions of "dead" then,
for me "dead" is when you post in chat and nobody ever responds,
or try to organize a game next weekend by posting on the forums and nobody does either.

Last I checked (1-2 months ago), there were still other players than me in D4 towns.

When game lost 99% of playerbase, it can be considered dead. Even if it still has some players.
Hard disagree, I don't give a shit about how many players a game might have had on release,
what I care about is how good it is
(sadly, speaking of D4, not particularly good, at least right now),
and whether it's possible to find other players to play with (= not "dead").
(Which I don't care much about anyway in PvE focused games like D4, but that's beside the point.)
