FLESH ZOMBIES 3.25 | Wrecker's Stress-Free Build(s) & Filters | 1-Button, HC SSF, Pure Item Freedom

Thanks for this great build!
I don't come often to leave replies, but after a one and half year break, my minion builds got nerfed and it was so frustrating. With barely any investment, you made zombie builds great again!
I myself tried your RF Chieftain, and the Reaper Necromancer. Got to say, that once they came far enough to start being usable, they brought me much joy in the experience feeling much safer and durable than ever before. Sure, both were HC SSF and died to sudden jank, these builds made me want to actually try pull off those for a challenge on myself. And lo behold, it took me farther than expected with so much comfort. Hoped to learn from it to make my own build, am still however too inexperienced to make anything that has enough damage to be worth pursuing the longterm. Still, you let me enjoy PoE for longer than it usually does.
Thank you very much for everything, greetings

Thanks, flavyx!

I'm glad you're enjoying the build so much and that it suits you! It sucks and a favourite build gets cut down a bit. I'm glad this helped you enjoy this league. I appreciate you taking the time to be so kind!

Cool, Lyah!

I'm glad the builds ended up exceeding your expectations. It's true, HC in general is quite dependant on experience. Dying in HC is always the worst feeling (I hate levelling in this game) but I like the attitude you have of learning from whichever build and pushing forward.

Good luck with your next iteration of build(s)! Thanks for the kind message :) .

I am currently trying out this build, but I have an observation. Whenever I use my warcry, Elusive immediately ends.
Do the warcries count as skills which end Withering Step early and I should get another minion?
Or do I need to level up my gems to get max cooldown reduction and duration boost to allow both skills to be used for max effect?
I'm struggling to scale any damage on this build. I have the zombies linked with Raise Zombie > Summon Phantasm > Energy Leech > Chance to poison > Meat Shield > Cruelty yet they don't seem to do any damage. What am I doing wrong?
I have no problem with this build once I stopped using Enduring Cry. Enduring Cry should actually be situational. When used, it automatically cancels out Withering Step, and Withering Step provides a lot of Damage through poison. I'm in Act 6 so I have all the gems setup and just walking around without using Enduring Cry lets me crush anything that comes near me. Replace Enduring Cry with a red minion gem and see if it helps. I haven't got a five link yet, so I'm using all the blue gems for the zombies currently. Everything else is setup correctly.

Hey, Chewy!

I see you already answered the question for yourself. Yes, any active skill will stop Withering Step. I also, as you have chosen to do, use Enduring Cry situationally. Another option is to remove Withering Step. I find it useful but I also always have a Quartz Flask that grants 3 charges every time I get hit. So, Withering Step isn't a "must" for me.

How's the build panning out for you?
