yeah, it seems rough, which is why i am scrambling to get damage increases from somewhere. the massive defenses tend to become offset by how long enemies live and even then i sometimes just died faster than petrified blood should allow for, but at least that became more rare.

i am trying to get a hungry loop and try out the carrion golem version someone posted here before or gear for a specter build or maybe even a minion instability autobomber, but i am 1 or 2 items off of them becoming functional due to playing ssf
Hey, dragomob!

Sorry it doesn't feel up to snuff. I can't help you out with any build changes but I'm happy to try and help out with the original build if you're still up for it. I'm having a solid time with my build and I don't have anything fancy on, so I'm wondering where the issue could be.

If you've moved on, have fun!

SSF rocks, btw. Good for you!

Survivability is much better for my minions now, they only die to rippy stuff in T16 for the most part.

Im the one that dying now :D im very squishy. that said i havent done much with my gear after i hit maps so i have upgrades to get there, and as you say Ravenous Horde isn't that good, can you recommend a defensive anoint i could swap it out with?
Awesome, Flip!

I'm glad the build is starting to come together and feel better for you.

Defensive notables, hey? There are many, many of which cost Golden Oils. Some non-Golden Oil notables are Inexorable, Asylum, & Freedom of Movement...those are a few that come to mind.

Thank you for the explanation. I didn't understand the order matters (is it the order the skills are cast in?), that's why it wasn't working.

Also the build only shows 1 link from CoDT to Desecrate, it doesn't show a link to other two.

I will test it the way you explained it, thank you!

For the cast order, it's mentioned in the wiki (takes a little digging to find).

https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Trigger#Trigger_order

"If multiple skills trigger simultaneously, they follow a set priority. First, skill gems in socket 1 of any piece of gear will apply before any skill gems in socket 2. Items with fewer than 6 sockets still follow this pattern from socket 1."

"For skills that are dependent on another skill (e.g. Summon Skeletons and Dark Pact), it is advised to place the dependent skill in a later socket to ensure smooth functioning."
Thanks, CelticHound for the great responses!

Hey, Maddorf. Celtic's already answered your question regarding CwDT. Is everything else working ok?

Hey wrecker, something is up with the pobb notes for the reaper, it's the notes from the flesh zombies. Just fyi.
Oh, shoot! Thanks, Electrocuted!

I thought I copied over my notes from the Reaper build. I guess I didn't do that for either non-zombie build. Shoot! Sorry! I've updated the Pobb, but unfortunately, the Notes section is just blank now. Sorry! And thanks for the heads up! I appreciate it.

Hi Wrecker!
There is something messed up with the builds, poeplanner shows only one group of skills. Righteous Bond and Flesh Zombies has this for sure.

I wanted to check which skill gem to buy and found only one gem
Thanks for the heads up, PetrGasparik!

Something happened to PoEPlanner on its last update. If you go to the main post here, you'll see the updated Pobb's you can click on. It'll show you all the gems and where/when you can buy them.

Sorry, the site isn't working well. I hope it's fixed soon. Thanks again for the heads up. I appreciate it!

Sorry it didn't work out for you. It sucks to feel like you wasted your time.

For sure the build needs armour. For that reason, we have a decent armour investment in the tree.

I've been playing the build on no problem in T16+ maps with no problems, so I'm not sure where your hiccup was for your progress. But, I'm glad you found something you seem to be enjoying now! Have fun!

I really would like to see your character in league that runs this build on T16 then I can find out and tell you probably.

i didn't change it yet, as nothing really looks as chill as this build and i miss it as soon as i play another char, but i am still trying to find something to boost the output.

if you are not having these issues, then it must be me, because even if ST feels solid on a lot of enemies, there have been multiple ritual enemies where even 10 max level 20 qual zombies and phantoms with full frenzy charges and a pale seraphim for debuffing didn't put a dent into the healthbar of the enemy.
blight is a no-go as soon as enemies come from 2 opposite directions and often amber trees lose a lot of their charges because enemies are just ignoring taunt.
legion doesn't work either, as dps is too unfocused without predator.
incursion from around map level 6 onwards does not work either as aoe is too lacking

i wonder if there is anything i can really do aside from grinding more +chance to poison for minions and +level to minions as well as gambling on higher qual zombie gems.
i got a 20% zombies of slamming gem which might help with clear speed, but i assume they would be too squishy. i am going to check your character and i'd be very thankful if you could check my witch for any obvious improvements.

all in all, thanks for the build!
i am super happy to hear you don't have these issues

edit: just saw you are playing a reaper build. considering you wrote you were unhappy with it's damage output before and you have no issues currently, something must be up with my build. maybe i should switch to your reaper build to compare, though i am not sure whioch build to use, your pob and your actual settler character have very different skill setups

Hi Wrecker, thank you for the answer, it is so kind how you care about people here.

I have unimportant and maybe stupid question. What is the meaning of colors and font size in Wrecker Ruthlessness filter?
I am picking up everything not just plain white, and sometimes I am wonder: why I have this normal thing in invertory?
I tried to read your notes on filter and it didn't help me, sorry! For example, I found out that purple text means "RGB linked socket" which is good for selling. So I tried to find it in filter notes and purple is only for fragments of map.
Also I tried to link font size to item level but I found out two items with different size and both on level 16.

What am I missing here?

Concrete example: white text with orange border and smallest text. Should I take it? Is it important? :)

Thankyuo in advance!
PS: I am a listener of your podcast. I really like it!
After spending quite a lot of time with the build, and I think seeing it at its full potential, I too have decided to move on. I enjoyed it so far, and this is my feedback. I am writing from my perspective as a non-HC, non-SSF player, and taking into account a few of the other comments I have read here.

- The build works. There is a rough spot while working your way through the Atlas, when it might feel like it doesn't. Once all your gems are leveled and you have decent enough gear, it works just fine at T16.

- Unlike most builds that say "HC/SSF viable", this is first and foremost a HCSSF build. The build is not an "also works in HC or SSF" build, it is made specifically for HCSSF. If you are not a regular HCSSF player, the damage will feel low. This build prioritizes survival and self-reliance. As a note to the build creator, maybe add a note in the Gameplay Expectations section to make this more clear for players coming from other league types - it might save you a few complaints in the comments!

- As with most builds, you will occasionally meet an enemy you can't possibly beat or that is not worth your time. Given the HCSSF focus of this build, this may happen a little more often than you are used to, and this is normal.

- There is pure item freedom. There are no specific items required, but of course you need to upgrade your defenses in order to progress. You need life and resists and armor. + Minion levels are really nice too. But how you go about it is completely up to you.

- There is plenty of room for customizing the build, a lot more so if you don't play HC or SSF. If you are struggling before everything is leveled, try using other minions to help the zombies - skeletons, SRS, or even Arakaali's Fang if you can get one.

In the end, I had a good time and I learned a thing or two about doing things in different ways than I was used to, especially when it comes to tankiness. I am moving to another build because I don't play HCSSF, and I want more emphasis on damage and speed.

Thank you Wrecker for the build, for the filter which I also enjoyed, and for keeping up with supporting everyone in the forum, and everyone keep having a good time!
OMG. The Wrecker_of_Days is legend in these parts!

Many good times running his builds waaaay back when. I still talk to a few people that I met years ago in your early zombie building threads.

We just started playing again.

Zombie on Wrecker!
