Did leagues get better with the new 4 months cycle?

Game is performing better than ever, and ToA is easily one of the best league mechanics, second only to Sanctum.

Leagues and general game balance are way worse now. Game is coasting comfortably because the base game feels great (and is unfortunately way better than the competition so they have no reason to shore up things that need improvement.)

I have been playing for 10 years and the only two terrible league mechanics (in the grand scheme of things) are Sanctum and ToA. So it goes to show you that some of us like to play POE and some folks like gimmicky side games that have almost nothing to do with playing Path of Exile.
