PoE has been dying for longer than some other games thrived. And not everyone plays games to just relax. Some want a challenge. People with a mind numbingly stupid job, for example, might enjoy engaging their brain a bit after work. Sure, there are other brain heavy games out there, but if you also happen to like aRPGs, why not play PoE a bit.
