Play POE until you turn gray and give GGG all your money and precious time
" Agreed~ I took a few years break before Crucible (Stopped after Blight) and the game sure was great to pick up again "For we are not now that strength, which in old days moved Earth and Heaven. That which we are, we are; one equal strength of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will: to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." - Ulysses, Tennyson Last edited by Cowrex on Sep 17, 2023, 11:40:47 PM

" All games are playable to the point where player gets exhausted. Its normal thing. It is ipossible for anybody to play always and always have the same fun. Eventually all players stuck to one game will get "exhausted and gray". " Advice based on experience. I remeber when PoE ended on doors to Temple of Solaris.
" PoE is a niche game, and it was a conscious design choice. GGG has made it pretty clear that they won't change their game design to attract more players/keep retention. https://youtu.be/KU6d1PL8xRQ?si=4p2FX6kWduBw5mKv&t=586 starting at 9:45 PS. Also in D4 case it's just a poor excuse for an overall bad game, because the game could not appeal neither to the casual working dads like D3 did, nor to 'hardcore' gamers. Meanwhile PoE is an excellent game if you happen to fall into that niche audience that it was designed for. Last edited by esostaks on Sep 18, 2023, 5:42:23 AM

I think it's more likely to turn gray by seeing the same rmt players and bot nerds with every single league over and over again.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

" That's all fine and dandy if an F2P game wants to operate that way, just don't be upset with the low population and many hate threads. |
|
" PoE obviously won't have million of online players, but the numbers are pretty good and steady for a niche game, and to my knowledge GGG is not struggling financially, so clearly they are content with what they have. The hate threads are also quite few especially compared to D4 forums where every single thread is a hate thread. Not only that, but here people will complain about one or two things, but on D4 forums the posters won't spare insults for the game and devs. Being on several gaming forums, I find this one by far the most civilized and mature.
" They could add those shitty daily quests and daily login bonuses that most other F2P & mobile games have, I'm sure everyone would love that. |

"What you are saying indirectly x2 to me is that I should be very happy I am not at other gaming forums? I think this is the most whining kindergarten forum ever existed. I have ben at other forums :D And probably stepped by a gaming forum. I have one wish - that all negativity without being constructive at all should just have a own part I could "close". I can't believe whats going on with people. In total if I add all those comments (and probably I havnt even read one percent of them), I think together everything with this game is the worst existing ever. It is like someone healthy blame om the forest while out running, they get exhausted when running a bit uphill. No, keep exersize and it will get easier. Dont run with those boots, the are made for alpine skiing. Don't run as fast as the world champion - ofc you will almost die trying to keep up with that tempo :D I am glad they can't affect me in the game at least. But either forum changes or Im out of it and just focus game. Or I join the whiners - maybe they are having fun!
Every streamer, every Youtube video, every Discord, every group turning the game into div/hour has taken away most of the fun from the game for me.
Oh I guess there are streamers who don't make everything div/hour, the ones who constantly call for nerfs so that everyone has less fun except the people who play 80+ hours per week. The ones who shill godawful, unfun skills due to lack of streaming content and then claim that if you don't like them then you must be bad. |

" I guess they just provide what the audience demands :) I personally simply don't let it get to me, because why would I actually care about what others do and how they treat the game? I play the builds that look fun and do the content that is fun to me. I also have my go-to farming strategies if I need currency to fund my build, but those strategies are also fun to me and not just something that will grant the most div/h. |
