Yes they aren't nerfing busted items that were created using the crucible mechanic. They know people have spent mirrors making and then getting copies of those items.

But the explode totem thing, that gotta go. Completely. Even if some people invested a lot to get the best possible sword.

The funny thing is then, explode totem would not become a popular skill on standard at full power. But Tornado Shot and Spectral Shield Throw with the ludicrous amount of damage those reach with crucible trees. Those would have been top standard skills and will be anyway.

XD was reading with interest for a minute then it popped, lie wtf is that.
Let me repeat my fellow suffering colleagues - ruthless patch and maintenance mode till poe2. (this is how blizz destroyed diablo 2 after 1.09 patch, great job, learned from best for sure)

POE2 is really hard and you will have a lot less... it wont have a ruthless mode... it will be the normal way to play the game... so unless you maybe learn to play a more difficult game before its release, you won't be hit that hard at release.


Unless Chris apologises for lying about Ruthless being a side project, and in actuality is a pre cursor for PoE2, then people might consider giving Ruthless a chance.

How can they give so much attention to a 'side project' but not much toward the main game?


Normal POE is here to satisfy the majority of players that are accustomed to the way the normal game is (I guess those players pay the bills). Its a really fast and not a good game design for the future and it is not the way GGG wants POE2 in any way. At Exilecon you saw a really really hard game...
So the best tactic is to make a ruthless mode and keep making more and more changes there. Also make minor changes to the normal game ofc to not upset the casual player to leave POE completely

I know there are allot of 5Way Haters out there who are probably jumping for joy right now, but there are also a ton of players that work really hard to grind the currency to make 5way happen for their char so they can actually see their builds reach full potential at 100, something they could NEVER do with all the insane things that can one-shot you in maps and in other mechanics.

5Ways are not just getting a nerf, they are getting a meteor dropped on them. Correct me if I am wrong... but we are basically getting negative -100% experience gain when running 5 emblems....And I just want anyone who knows the scenery, to picture the mighty Cardinal Sanctus Vox coming at your group with his new found 75% more monster life, and 50% increased damage :'[ .... Am I crazy, or isn't that all a bit much in a single patch? Do you want people to actually get to 100 ever? We know it is nearly impossible organically because of all the "gotchas" in this game that kill people all the time.

Next, it is painful to see what has happened to Guardian. Basically he is being stripped of every single thing that made him unique, and great, and a wonderful supporter and "Guardian" to his group, and is being traded in for wasted ascendancies that no one will want to play.

This is operating under the assumption that I want to play poe 2. I would much rather play poe 1 as it is now than a slowed down harder game from the same developers. Grim dawn for example manages a slower aarpg style well. Poe stands out because it isn't a slow slog through the dust and grime. If I wanted that I'd play dark souls. Over my 15 years or so of gaming I've come to appreciate how poe stands out from other aarps and I'm not too happy they are abandoning that element.
