ArchNemesis Mods are CANCER
" It's amazing how confused some people are on what concurrent player count means. They do a simple subtraction for player retention and somehow think that number is valid. Even discussing what it means feels like screaming into the void. No one hears it. They just want the math/stat to be simple.
You guys arguing about what numbers mean are funny. Got to love people who took a math class and want eveyone to know.

" Those numbers don't tell much. The daily high player counts are more accurate in showing the player retention. Here's what that looks like for Steam: At launch - April 7 | 1500 hrs | 209,526 Yesterday - April 24 | 1300 hrs | 95,603 209,526 -95,603 ------- -113,923 daily high player count since launch The nerfs will continue until morale improves. " Ya, well nearly no top tier player agrees that its's not an issue, they don't even believe that AN was done away with. They say AN just got a name change and that it's there. IMO the most dangerous thing for GGG right now is people are starting to think they can't be trusted and that they lie all the time. Trust is all they really have and if they don't stop they will lose the good faith of the player base.
AN isn't as much as the company is at this point if you ask me
| |
Yeah yeah, all the players play 24/7 so your low concurrent accounts matters 100%
I purposefully left out any conclusions, scary stuff I learned in overpriced university (or primary school for that matter), and many other dishonest ways of framing the matter at hand, and THIS is what you came up with? Do you feel like you've done the point justice and put the matter to bed with this fresh set of words you're putting in my mouth? Where do the forum's GGG advocates find such compelling ways to destroy their credibility with such dispatch? Genuinedly curious how these people expect anyone to take them seriously after making such lazy, bad-faith arguments. |

The problem with ArchNemesis is that it fails, it's not a real challenge for hardcore players, and it's incredibly tedious for softcore/casual players. BUT for me the worst thing is that it still disturbs the other contents of the game, like Delve, incursion, heist. because clearly they weren't made thinking about content with confined environments or limited time. for me AT LEAST they should remove the AN from the other contents of the game

" theres nothing to learn about a rare with cycling dmg reduction and on top of it resistant to your dmg type so you just sit there for 30 seconds killing a rare monster its not hard its annoying
I think GGG should be more transparent and tell us how they changed the monster modifiers. We aren't dumb, we can see the changes. Silent buffing monster mods without telling us is a sneaky way to slowly reintergrate AN mods. Give it another few leagues and AN mods will be back in full force like it's former self.

" Exactly, and now I just leave that rare standing there and keep moving. They aren't worth my time. I just see them as a way to waste my time. I'm tired of the tedium. What's more valuable, killing every AN monster or skipping them and just doing more maps? Even if it's close (which I highly doubt it is) I am spending my time doing something far more enjoyable by skipping them. |
