In Delve, Archnemesis monsters with the Heralding Minions mod are too punishing. We've fixed this internally so that the Heralding Minion Mod will no longer appear on monsters in Delve. We will deploy this change in an upcoming patch.

I'm not a game game developer so this might sound wild, but how about an archnemesis skill tree?
That way, players could buff or nerf them the way they liked. Make them more common or less, perhaps even block certain mods from appearing at all.

Your isolated 'discussions' lead to people leaving. Even now. Cause you don't have the guts to admit the game is currently heading the wrong way. You had many 'discussions' before destroying the game you did till now.
Learn to LISTEN.
Very disheartening to see things like "still discussing" etc around loot.

Absolutely no one will read this but I want to express how the changes you are so dead set on affect people far removed from the change itself.

The removal of harvest crafts that make crafting easier make the best crafted items borderline impossible to make and if you do its absolute RNG. This is not only miserable to people who enjoy crafting (RNG is NOT fun. Look at other games who are intentionally adding incremental improvement options in place of total RNG mechanics - WoW creation catalyst is a good example) but it makes these items exceedingly rare if not non-existent on trade. As a result these items become impossibly expensive if they do appear. In the crafting process some items are made that are good but are not perfect. These "OK" items get sold on the trade site to recoup some of the crafting attempt cost to people like me who don't have the time, knowledge, or currency available to make them ourselves, but DO make just enough currency to purchase these mid tier items. This causes a spike in player power to progress and encourages additional play. These items no longer exist in reasonable quantities. This is a direct nerf to people who are NOT the super high end that you seem to desperately want to stomp down. Combine this with the drop nerfs in general and you leave the mid tier people stuck with entry level gear.

Lets talk about the affects of the above situation... People like me who no longer have these "OK" items to purchase hit an absolute brick wall and see no way to incrementally progress so they quit the game. Hence the horrible player retention this league. Literally the worst ever. Nerfs that affect the party groups blasting maps and getting tons of uniques to sell has the same affect. Uniques that are build enabling are exceedingly rare and super expensive in some cases, if they show up at all. Chest pieces with 3 sockets and no links are 10 divines in some cases. More than any other league. You also seem (?) to have nerfed Gwennen as well so this is even more amplified. These are "more multipliers" to non-fun.

You have this "Vision(tm)" but can you not see how this vision affects player retention? Poor player retention means no one buying MTX. Is this not obvious? Changes can be fine but you created a perfect storm of too many changes that compound and results in a dead zone for absolutely atrocious player retention... and the expense and availability of items gets worse. You say that making items easier to get makes people quit faster but in my personal experience, this isn't true at all. Last league was one of the most rewarding leagues we have seen. I got a mageblood and leveled several characters into the 90's because it was FUN to blast maps on different build types with that item. I played pretty late into the league. Killed bosses I never imagined trying, etc. If the vision =/= fun then this player retention trend will continue, if they are willing to try again.
People play games to have fun. With all the recent changes, this game doesn't feel fun anymore. Im done with this league and unless the next league is beyond amazing, i probably wont bother coming back. I dont agree with the direction this game is going.

This league is just a let down simulator.

I'm not often post something in this Forum BUT

i have to agree with most of the people here, crafting is what keeps this game so much longer fun for me then D3 or what ever other grind games.

Crafting is what this game makes so much interessting.

Taking away Harvest Crafts espcially Keep Pre / Keep Suff makes Crafting so much more expensive and NOT fun.

Harvest was always tradeable trought TFT and i really hate to use TFT tbh.

Make Harvest not tradeable and give us the Crafts back. But saying there was no possible compromiss is just bullshit.

Please listen to the community those are the ppl playing the game and keep it alive not a vision nor the dev Team.

I had so much fun Crafting in Ultimatum league like never before because as an avg player you had not spend 50 hours of grinding so build a good item not god tier or anything.

I really hope you guys discuss Harvest again and come to the conclusion that it is NOT in a good state atm.

AN: Make 2Mods+ only appear on Red Map+ content.. making the game harder early doesn't benefit anyone.. literally no one complains about the game being too easy early on, but I bet alot of people aren't happy about the game being too hard early and quit.


AN QoL: put BIG ICON above touched mobs, Im paranoid on missing the massive loot because I some how skipped over the wrong rare, PoE isn't a game where you have the time to hover over every rare mobs and read the text.


AN Loot: Less variance is nice.. add more type of rewards to the loot table, lesser currency like Alts, Alcs and Scours.. Sac Frags etc are way more suitable than 20 flasks which you hide on your filter..

woah slow down guys, 76 pages of pure hate and negativity, they might need to sit down to discuss this topic again closley, monitoring every comment intensivley, and creating a brainstorm that will significantly improve the game.

Most likely my post will get deleted because the mods are monitoring every step we make very closley in order to maintain a very balanced % of pos/neg comments in this forum.


jesus, just stop bubbling around and fix the loot, remove archnemesis and revert harvest. Is it really that much to ask, for you to make the game FUN again and stop treating it like a god damn e-sports game??

I most likely get it - slowing down everything, using cheap psychological negotiations tactics like kick in the door, then the stupid gating of loot explosions which in chain reactions makes u more addicted to the game (lol is a prime example for this, you lose, lose but you keep playing anyway because you WANT that win) same here with god molested archnemesis mobs.


FIX YOUR GAME, you got over 70 pages of PURE NEGATIVITY HERE, its time to listen to the customers, after all we are the guys who make you guys rich and you want our money, not vice versa.

theres nothing really to discuss here, if you want to enfore your vision you gonna have a dead game, if you want to make money, LISTEN TO YOUR PLAYERBASE.


edit: i will say it again: if you guys want truly that something changes in our favor, then vote with your wallet, its the single most effective thing you can do, deny them your hard earned money and they will BEG you to try all the buffs they implemented.
